🏈 The Sports Bar at Disney Village Reopens! What You Need to Know
Disney Village has been a bit of a building site lately, hasn’t it? Everywhere you walk, there’s a crane, a wall, or a mysterious tarp flapping in the wind. But at long last, one of the big pieces of the puzzle is about to click back into place:
The Sports Bar at Disney Village swings open its doors on Saturday, 22 November 2025.
I went by yesterday (20th Nov) for a peek, and I’ve brought back photos, updates, and a few thoughts on what’s coming next.
A Look at the Outside — Shiny, Fresh & Nearly There
Yesterday, the construction walls were still up, and the sound of jackhammers on pavement was ear shattering. But I managed to get a proper peek through the gaps. What I saw: sleek brickwork, bold signage, fun Disney character elements… and lots of energetic workers pacing around making sure tomorrow’s opening actually, you know, happens.
Inside the New Sports Bar
Disney has shared some gorgeous concept art, which gives us a flavour of what’s waiting behind those construction barriers:
- Bright, modern interior
- Green and wood accents
- Loads of screens (not shockingly)
- Cosy booths and high seating
- A lively, relaxed energy
If the real thing ends up looking even close to the concept art, this will be one of those places where you ‘pop in for one drink’ and somehow stay for two hours.

We don’t have the full menu yet for the Sports Bar at Disney Village; it’s still not showing in the Disneyland Paris app (which is frankly surprising this close to opening day!). But I’ll update this post the second it appears.
But! We do have a peek at some of the items coming to the table:

🥞 First Things First: All-Day Breakfast
Yes, all day.
And judging by the press photo I think we can look froward to hearty American-style plates:
- Fried eggs with bacon
- Giant croissants
- French toast
- Fresh fruit and yoghurt bowls
Honestly, if they add Sports Bar to the Disneyland Paris meal plans, it’ll be a very welcome option for guests missing Annette’s Diner’s while they are closed for refurbishment. This is just a guess on my part, but we can hope.
Drinks Spotlight: Thirsty? You Will Be.
The Sports Bar has clearly decided that if it reopens, it’s reopening properly:
- Craft beers (hello to the hipster grown-ups)
- Deliciously crisp ciders (because refreshing is needed after 20,000 steps)
- Exclusive cocktails! Including the bright blue and passionfruit ones we’ve seen in early photos
- Extra-large shared drinks (I cannot wait to see these in the wild)
- Alcohol-free creations that aren’t just lemonades with delusions of being worthy of €13
The cocktails look… colourful.
And fun.
And cool. In a ‘Oh, that charred marshmallow is definitely going on my Instagram’ way.
Personally, I’m looking forward to trying the Frozen-inspired blue concoction as glitter is one of my favourite food groups.
Sandwiches & Savoury Options
We’ve also seen preview shots of impressive sandwiches and sports bar staples. Casual-but-satisfying and able to split with a group looks like the vibe they’re going for. Perfect for a late lunch or dinner after a day of sprinting between Big Thunder and Tower of Terror.
Normal plated options are set to be on the menu as well.

🤳 I Visited Yesterday. Here’s the Current State of Things
Because nothing is more ‘me’ than sticking my phone through a construction wall like a determined Inspector Gadget, here’s what I captured:
- Construction equipment still on the ground
- Final touches happening inside
- Screens visible through the gaps
- The outside signage ready to go
- A few fun Disney sports-themed murals already installed
It really does look like they’re racing toward the finish line.
The Bigger Picture: Disney Village Is Transforming
The reopening of the Sports Bar is just one puzzle piece in the huge redevelopment happening across Disney Village right now. If you want the full breakdown, I’ve got you covered in the post lined below, but here’s the quick overview:
• A Brand-New McDonald’s
You may have noticed the current McDonald’s looking a little… tired. That’s because a brand new one is being built, and it’s going to be a major upgrade. Let’s just hope they tackle the issue with the smell (iykyk).
• The Disney Wonder Shop
Coming soon to bring more spending money temptations to your life. The concept art looks modernly gorgeous with wooden textures, big bright windows, and a fresh feel.
• Casa Giulia Restaurant
This will replace the former Planet Hollywood site, and if you’ve walked past recently, you’ll know things are happening. My photo from yesterday shows cranes, concrete, and a whole lot of movement.
This is one I’m personally very curious about. Will the menu for Case Giulia be very different to Vapiano, the current sit-down Italian restaurant a stone throw’s away? I feel like the location would lend itself better to a quick service establishment for the hordes leaving the parks for their hotels (hungry and in a hurry to put kids to bed!). We shall see.

I’m genuinely thrilled to see the Sports Bar come back to life. With Disney Village getting such a big glow-up, this feels like the first major piece of the puzzle sliding into place.
Once that official menu drops, you bet I’ll be there trying a cocktail (or three) and reporting back.
