Over the years, I’ve tried just about every app for Disneyland Paris, and I’m here to share my game-changers. These gems will get you from planning the perfect trip to squeezing every last drop of fun out of your day in the parks. Bonus: I’ve included links to download all the free apps for your convenience because, let’s face it, no one wants to search the App Store mid-packing panic.

1. Trip Planning Apps

These apps will help you get to Disneyland Paris with minimal hassle—and maybe even save you a few pounds along the way.

  • Eurostar: Booking your train from London to Disneyland Paris is a breeze with this app. You’ll even get live updates on delays (not that we’re manifesting any!).
  • Skyscanner: Hunting for the best flight deals? This app is a lifesaver for finding budget-friendly options. They’ll even alert you when the prices change.
  • Trainline: Perfect for booking the TGV train from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris. Pro tip: Use the app to book your train when you clear security in Paris – then you don’t have to worry about flight delays and missing your train.
  • TopCashback: Earn cashback on your bookings—perfect for saving a little extra for that adorable Disney mug in the gift shop. Use my TopCashback link to earn yourself a BONUS and start saving today!
  • Hotels.com: From budget stays to luxury hotels, find and book the perfect accommodation near Disneyland Paris. (Don’t forget to use TopCashback to earn on your hotel stay as well!)
  • SkipTax: Shopping in France? Use the SkipTax app to claim VAT refunds and save on your Disney merch splurges. TIP: Scan your Disneyland Paris receipts straight into the app. And use this promo code to get yourself an extra 1% back! PM29CYXW You might also want to read my Easy Guide to Using SkipTax.

2. Finding Your Way

Getting to Disneyland Paris or exploring Paris itself? These apps make navigating like a local a piece of cake (or should I say gateaux?).

  • Bonjour RATP: Plan train routes, purchase tickets, and navigate the RER like a pro. Great for getting to the Eiffel Tower from the parks!
  • Paris Metro: When your data vanishes into the ether, this offline route planner has your back. It’s perfect for finding your way around Paris without Wi-Fi. Paris Metro for Apple | Paris Metro for Android
  • Google Maps: Whether you’re driving, navigating the RER, or finding the nearest petrol station, this app is your best friend. Good to know: Google Maps is so handy for drivers as it will automatically disable speed alerts (which are illegal in France). Google Maps for Apple | Google Maps for Android
  • Waze: Driving and you don’t want to waste your mobile data? Or in an area your phone doesn’t get a signal? Waze will allow you to download your map and use it offline.

3. Best Disneyland Paris Apps to Use in the Parks

Once you’re in the parks, these apps will help you make the most of your time—and keep the fun going even during the longest queues (I’m looking at you Princess Pavilion!).

  • Disneyland Paris App: ESSENTIAL. Your official one-stop shop for Disneyland Paris park maps, live wait times, dining reservations, and show schedules. You also need it to book restaurants. Honestly, it’s indispensable.  ✏️ PRO TIP: Check the picture above (on the far left) to make sure you download the correct app. (Because it’s easy to download the Disneyland California version by mistake!!)
  • MagiPark: My personal favourite – I love having the MagiPark widget on my home screen to track ride wait times, get alerts when times drop, and even know when a ride breaks down (see widget in the picture above, centre). It’s a total lifesaver for both park time and phone battery. Note: Unfortunately, this app is only available on iPhone.
  • Disneyland PhotoPass: Track all your PhotoPass+ pictures, so you’ll never lose a snap of that iconic castle pose or that priceless family picture with Mickey Mouse. (Hyperlink is actually for the web version, pictured above right. The app seems to be quite temperamental.)
  • Google Photos: Back up your memories as you go, and find them later by searching ‘castle’ or ‘Mickey.’ Genius, right? Google Photos for Android | Google Photos for Apple
  • Heads Up!: The only paid app on my best Disneyland Paris apps list, but it’s just £1.99, and totally worth it. This charades-style app turns queueing into a laugh-out-loud experience. Trust me, it’s fun for kids and adults alike. And you won’t be the only one playing it in the queue – it’s very popular with groups!

4. Checking the Weather at Disneyland Paris

Let’s face it: Like the UK, Disneyland Paris weather can be unpredictable. My secret weapon for the smartest packing is a local weather app.

  • Météo-France provides hyper-local French weather updates, so you’ll know if it’s time to pack ponchos or leave the thermals at home. Trust me, checking the forecast before heading out can save the day—literally. ✏️ Pro Tip: Search ‘Chessy’ not Paris for the most accurate forecast.

5. Pro Tips for Using These Apps

Because of course I am going to share even more top tips, my friend!

  • Download all the apps ahead of time, log in, and set up any accounts you’ll need.
  • Create a dedicated ‘Disneyland Paris’ folder on your phone for easy access.
  • Test key features of apps like MagiPark and the Disneyland Paris app before your trip.
  • Screenshot your Disneyland Paris tickets or Annual pass in case you lose signal or Wi-Fi.
  • For apps like SkipTax and TopCashback, make sure to set up your account and understand how they work before you shop.
