50+ Disneyland Paris Budget Hacks (Yes, It’s Possible to Save Money!)
We all know Disney magic doesn’t come cheap, but trust me — as a shameless Budget Queen — there are plenty of ways to save money at Disneyland Paris. Whether you’re in the planning stage or heading to the parks today, I know how to keep things wallet-friendly. From tickets and hotels to snacks and souvenirs, here are 50+ Disneyland Paris budget hacks to save money. And a few extra fun tips (because who doesn’t love a little chuckle while stressing over their holiday budget?).
Travel Hacks – Get to Disneyland Paris Without Spending a Fortune
Because getting there shouldn’t cost more than your park tickets!
1. Book Eurostar Early
Tickets for the Eurostar can be pricey, but if you book them as early as possible (we’re talking as soon as tickets go on sale), you’ll get the best rates. Midweek travel also tends to be cheaper, and there’s always the joy of early morning starts, right?
2. Fly Budget Airlines
If you’re willing to brave the lack of legroom and baggage limitations (how many pairs of Mickey ears can I squeeze in?), budget airlines like EasyJet or Ryanair can get you to Paris for less. Book in advance and keep an eye out for those flash sales.
3. Consider Public Transport from the Airport
If you’re landing at Charles de Gaulle, the Magical Shuttle might seem tempting, but taking the TGV train may save you some cash. Sure, it’s less magical, but your wallet will thank you.
✏️ PRO TIP Book the TGV train to Disneyland Paris using the Trainline app to plan your route on public transport. And don’t attempt this with large luggage or strollers, unless you enjoy being stressed!
4. Use Uber or Bolt from the Airport
If you’re arriving at the airport with family or friends, consider using Uber or Bolt to get to Disneyland Paris. It can be more affordable than a rental car when you factor in parking fees. Plus, you won’t have to worry about navigating unfamiliar roads after a long flight!
5. Use Carpooling Services
If you’re looking for an eco-friendly and budget-friendly option, consider a carpool. Blablacar is popular in France and could save you a pretty penny while helping the environment.
Ticket Tips – Maximise the Magic Without the Hefty Price Tag
Here’s how to make the most of your tickets while keeping your budget happy.
6. Buy Tickets in Advance
The earlier you book, the cheaper your tickets. Disneyland Paris will raise ticket prices periodically and without warning, so don’t wait until the last minute – get your tickets early. Procrastination might be my middle name, but this is where being organised pays off!
My favourite ticket outlet is Attraction Tickets. I have used them for many years because they have great customer service and the digital tickets can be linked to your Disneyland Paris app immediately. (Plus, their prices are lower!)
7. Visit in the Off-Peak Season
Ticket prices are like the stock market—always fluctuating. Avoid peak times (like around Christmas and Halloween) to score cheaper entry, plus shorter lines! Win-win, am I right? Find out the Best Time to Go to Disneyland Paris!
8. Consider 1-Park 1-Day Tickets
If hopping between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park isn’t essential for you, 1-park 1-day tickets are cheaper than the park hopper option. Trust me, both parks are amazing, but it’s perfectly fine to take it one at a time. You can find great deals on park tickets here: Cheapest Discount Tickets.
9. Check for Multi-Day Discounts
If you’re staying for more than one day, you will be better off with a multi-day ticket. The price per day drops significantly, which means more magic for less money. It’s like Disney’s little gift to you… kind of.
10. Family and Friends Tickets
Disneyland Paris offers Family and Friends tickets at selected (random) times of the year for all levels of Annual Pass holders. So if you have a friend with an Annual Pass, make sure they let you know when the offer pops up, and you could get your ticket for less!
11. Take Advantage of Exclusive Ticket Discounts
Disneyland Paris offers a 25% discount to those with disabilities and their carer (or 25% off an annual pass). They also give discounts to Blue Light Card holders and military personnel.
Hotel and Accommodation Tricks – Snooze for Less
Get a good night’s sleep without waking up to an empty wallet.
12. Price up a Disney Value Hotel
For the true Disney experience without the splurge, stay at Disney’s Value Hotels like Santa Fe or Hotel Cheyenne. These are the cheapest options on-site and come with magical perks like Extra Magic Time, meaning you get into the park before it officially opens. Plus, you’ll get those classic Disney vibes on a budget!
📌 Check out my review: Disney Hotel Santa Fe vs Cheyenne – Which is Better?
13. Consider Staying in Val d’Europe
One of my favourite Disneyland Paris budget hacks is to stay at the hotels in nearby Val d’Europe.
🤓 GOOD TO KNOW Val d’Europe is the next stop from Disneyland Paris on the RER train. It’s an easy 5 minute journey, and hotels are within 2-5 minutes walking distance.
For example, Residhome Val d’Europe offers spacious self-catering apartments with kitchens, so you can save on meals and enjoy extra room to spread out (especially after a long day of queuing for rides). Here’s my review for the full scoop: Residhome Val d’Europe Review.
14. Book a Disney Partner Hotel
Disneyland Paris partner hotels, like Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe or B&B Hôtel, are close to the parks. These hotels also have Disney merchandise in their gift shops and other magical touches like park shuttles and access to transport from the aiport to your hotel (without the Disney price tag).
📌 Check out a complete list of Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels which include FREE shuttles.
15. Use Reward Points for Free Nights
Are your hotel loyalty points burning a hole in your pocket? Some hotel chains like Marriott Bonvoy and Accor have partner hotels near Disneyland Paris where you can redeem points for free or discounted stays. I collect points with Marriott Bonvoy at the Moxy in Val d’Europe and I’m looking forward to redeeming them for a free stay!
16. Stay at a Local Hotel with a Free Shuttle
There are loads of budget-friendly hotels near Disneyland Paris that offer free shuttle services to the parks, so you don’t always need to splurge on a Disney hotel to stay close. 📌 Check out a list of hotels near Disneyland Paris with free shuttles here: Cheapest Accommodation for Disneyland Paris
17. Book Through Third-Party Sites
Sites like Hotels.com and Booking.com often offer discounts on both Disney hotels and nearby accommodations. Don’t forget to check for deals a few months ahead of your trip—you could stumble upon a bargain!
✂️💶 MONEY-SAVING TIP: Don’t forget to use TopCashback to get free money back on your Disneyland Paris booking. Use my link to get a bonus!
18. Avoid Parking Fees
Parking at Disneyland Paris can really add up, but if you stay at a Disney hotel or Disney partner hotel, you’ll get free parking. When you’re saving €30 per day, it’s like winning the Disney lottery!
19. Consider Airbnb or Home Rentals
If you’re travelling with a group or family, renting a home or apartment via Airbnb can be much more affordable than multiple hotel rooms. Plus, you’ll have a kitchen for even more savings on meals!
Cheap Eats – Smuggle Snacks in Like a Pro
No need to spend a fortune when you’ve got snacks stashed like a Disney ninja!
20. Bring Your Own Snacks From Home
Disneyland Paris allows you to bring your own snacks into the park, so save yourself from the shock of a €4 soda by packing drinks and snacks from home. The only things you’re not allowed are glass, large coolers and alcohol.
21. Use the Local Supermarket
Not got room in your luggage for food? Head to the Val d’Europe shopping centre just one stop away on the RER train, where there’s a HUGE Auchan Supermarket. You can stock up on snacks, drinks, or even a meal to take back to your hotel room.
22. Look for the Cheapest Snacks in the Park
Look closely and you’ll find a few Disneyland Paris snacks that are reasonably priced, and some are even shareable. The Wonderland-themed ice creams at March Hare are great for sharing (or eating all by yourself, no judgement here). And Lion King ice cream sandwiches are only around £3.
23. Score a Sweet Deal with Drink and Snack Combos
Keep an eye out for the ‘Sweet Break’ offer on the menu. For instance, at the Overland Trail Cafe, you can snag a hot drink and churros together for just €7. It’s a tasty way to save some money and even better for sharing (if you’re feeling generous, that is)!
24. Use a Refillable Water Bottle
There are water fountains scattered around Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios. Bringing a refillable water bottle will save you from spending on pricey bottled water all day long. The environment wins too!

Money-Saving Dining in the Park – Because Even Mickey-Shaped Food Can Be Affordable
Yes, you can eat at Disneyland Paris without selling a kidney.
25. Grab Breakfast From Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy Station
Instead of shelling out for a pricey breakfast at your hotel, head to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station where you’ll find grab-and-go options like Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, Pret a Manger, the Relay shop and more. Cheap coffee and doughnuts are sometimes all you need before diving into the parks!
26. Picnic at the Park
Since you are allowed to bring your own food and drink in Disneyland Paris, pack a lunch! Save money, feed your pickiest eater what the love best, and check out my favourite picnic spots in Disney: Cheapest Way to Eat at Disneyland Paris. You can bring bread, jam and peanut butter from home or buy sandwiches from Pret a Manger or Relay in the train station.
27. Share a Meal
If you’re doing table-service dining like at Rainforest Cafe in Disney Village, consider sharing. The portions are huge, and you can save money by splitting a meal between two people. Plus, you’ll still have room for dessert… or another Mickey-shaped snack, right?
Also check out the family-sized Mickey pizzas from Bella Notte – they’re popular for good reason.
28. Order a Kid’s Meals
If you’re not too hungry, ordering a kid’s meal from quick service restaurants like Colonel Hathis or Bella Notte is a great way to save a few euros. The portions are a bit smaller, but they often come with a drink and dessert (see photo above right). Sometimes being childlike has its perks!
29. Book the Cheapest Disney Buffet – Hotel Santa Fe
Want to treat yourself to a buffet without breaking the bank? This is a great money-saving Disneyland Paris budget hack. The La Cantina buffet at Hotel Santa Fe is the cheapest of all the Disney buffets. Loads of options, and the price won’t leave you gasping for air!
📌 Check out How to Book the Disneyland Paris Restaurants.
30. Save Money on Disney Dining Plans with Your Hotel Package
When you book a Disney hotel package, look into adding a meal plan. While it’s an upfront cost, you can save in the long run, if you love dining at the table service restaurants. Plus, you can spread the payment out which makes budgeting for food and drink a lot easier.
Annual Pass Discounts – Get More Magic for Less
Make your annual pass worth every penny.
31. Upgrade to an Annual Pass
If you’re planning on returning to Disneyland Paris in the next 12 months, consider upgrading your regular park ticket to an Annual Pass. You’ll get the cost of your ticket credited toward the pass, which can save you loads in the long run.
32. Get Discounts with an Annual Pass
Silver and Gold Annual Pass holders get discounts on parking, food, merchandise, and even the PhotoPass+, which can really add up. If you plan on spending big in the parks, it might be worth the investment. 📌Check out my Annual Pass Guide
33. Take a Friend to an Annual Pass Party
Parties are better with friends! A great Disneyland Paris budget hack is to buy only one Annual Pass but take your friend or partner to the Annual Pass Parties held throughout the year. These evening celebrations allow the Passholder to bring a guest (sometimes 2) for only around £50 each – much less than a day ticket!
Bonus: You’ll get to see loads of rare characters and shows that are exclusive to Annual Pass parties.
The Scoop on Premier Access (Get the Most Bang For Your Buck!)
You might not need to splurge on Premier Access to skip the queues — here’s how to hack the system.
34. Pay Less for Premier Access
Premier Access prices fluctuate depending on demand. If you’re set on skipping the lines, go on a low-demand day (midweek, off-season) when it’s more affordable.
Another savvy tip is to buy Premier Access One instead of an all-day pass. Using it on a few strategic rides will save you so much money, especially if you’re using it for the whole family.
📌 Check out: Is Premier Pass Worth It?
35. Skip Premier Access by Timing Your Rides Perfectly
Cutting to the front of the queue with Premier Access may make you feel like a VIP, but if you head to the big attractions early in the morning or during parades, you’ll often find shorter queues, meaning you won’t need to shell out for skip-the-line passes.
✏️ PRO TIP The Disneyland Paris app has live wait times for all of the attractions. Check out the Best (Free!) Apps for Disneyland Paris.
36. Use a Strategic Park Plan Instead of Premier Access
Why spend your hard-earned cash on Premier Access when you can navigate the parks like a pro? With a little planning, you can hit those popular attractions during off-peak times and dodge those pesky long lines.
📌 Check out all my Disneyland Paris itineraries for inspiration! That way, you can find the best times to visit each ride and keep your day running smoothly — without splurging on those skip-the-line passes.
Shopping and Souvenirs – Magical Mementos Without the Magical Price
Grab those keepsakes without buyer’s remorse.
37. Set a Souvenir Budget
The shops at Disneyland Paris are like treasure chests, but setting a budget beforehand will help avoid the temptation to buy everything. Believe me, it’s a struggle. If you need help organising your costs, check out this handy Disneyland Paris Budget Planner (currently discounted!) .
38. Buy Souvenirs Outside the Parks
Check out local shops in the adjacent train station or in Val d’Europe. You can find Disney merchandise much cheaper outside the parks, and no one will ever know that adorable plush was a pre-purchase.
39. Collect Disneyland Paris Freebies
Don’t forget that cast members at Disneyland Paris hotels sometimes give out free stickers! A little freebie that makes for a cute souvenir—just ask nicely, and you’ll be surprised by how many you collect.
And if it’s your birthday or first visit, ask at City Hall for a free celebration button.
40. Get a €3.00 Disneyland Paris Souvenir!
Looking for a budget-friendly souvenir? Pick up a reusable Disneyland Paris shopping bag from any of the gift shops for just €3.00! It’s a cute way to carry all your magical treasures and makes for a great keepsake.
Or, if you want to save even more, bring your own bag, since Disneyland Paris no longer provides carrier bags free of charge. Talk about a handy Disneyland Paris budget hack.
41. Buy Souvenirs at Val d’Europe
Skip the park prices and head to Val d’Europe (one stop on the train), where you can find similar Disney merchandise at lower prices in stores like Primark. You’ll find Disney-themed items like pyjamas, mouse ears, home decor, and even plush toys for a fraction of the cost!
42. Collect Disney Souvenirs Before You Go
Websites like ShopDisney UK or Amazon have Disney items that are often cheaper than in the parks. So if your little one absolutely must have those Minnie ears, consider buying them beforehand and surprising them at the park.
43. Spot the Sales
Disneyland Paris holds seasonal sales, so if you’re visiting during those times, you might find some great deals on merchandise. Keep your eyes peeled for those red sale tags, and you might leave with a bargain!
44. Look for Multi-Use Souvenirs
Instead of buying multiple small items that sit in the junk drawer at home, go for souvenirs you can actually use, like a Disney mug, water bottle, or even clothing. They’ll remind you of your trip every time you use them, and they last longer than a plush that ends up on a shelf!
Extra Tips – Ultra Cool Ways to Save Money at Disneyland Paris
Random, but brilliant ways to keep those euros in your purse!
45. Take Advantage of Cashback Sites
If you’re booking hotels or packages, don’t forget to use free cashback sites like TopCashback. You can earn back a nice percentage of what you spend! I collected over £1,000 and used that for my solo trip to Disney World in Florida.
46. Download the Disneyland Paris App
The Disneyland Paris app is FREE and can help you navigate the park, check wait times, and find out where meet-and-greets and shows are happening. It’s a small thing that can save you time and stress, which is priceless! Check out more Essential Apps for Disneyland Paris.
47. Use Public Transport Instead of a Taxi
If you’re heading to Paris or staying off-site, the RER train is much cheaper than taking a taxi or airport shuttle. A train ticket from Marne-la-Vallée to central Paris is only €5.
48. Avoid Using Your Phone Abroad
International data charges can be outrageous, so look into getting a local SIM card or a portable Wi-Fi device to stay connected without draining your wallet. Most hotels offer free Wi-Fi hotspots for guests and even the parks and Disney Village have free Wi-Fi.
49. Collect Autographs Instead of Buying Memorabilia
Instead of splurging on every plush or pin, why not make it a mission to collect character autographs? It’s a fun (and free) way to create memories, and the kids will love the challenge!
📌 Check out these Genius Autograph Ideas
50. Enjoy all the Free Shows at Disneyland Paris
You don’t need to splurge on Guaranteed or Reserved Access tickets for the shows and fireworks at Disneyland Paris — they’re all free! Check out All the Shows Included With Your Park Ticket – Mickey and Magician is my favourite.
✏️ PRO TIP Keep an eye on the daily schedule (in the Disneyland Paris app), and arrive early to grab a good spot.
51. Use PhotoPass Wisely
Disney’s PhotoPass+ is a fun way to capture magical moments, but it’s not the cheapest. If you’re on a budget, just ask cast members to take a photo of you with your own phone. They’re usually happy to help, and it costs nothing!
💡Another top Disneyland Paris budget hack is to ask the photographer for a temporary PhotoPass card. Then, at the end of the day, you can see your photos in the app and decide if you wish to purchase a few individual shots or if it’s worth investing in the PhotoPass to get all of them.
52. Use the Free Virtual Queue for Character Meets
Look out for things you can do for absolutely FREE in the parks. For instance, take advantage of Disneyland Paris’ free Virtual Queue to meet Marvel superheroes in Avengers Campus. No need to splurge on an expensive character meal to see your favourite heroes up close!
✏️ PRO TIP Sign up in the Disneyland Paris app as soon as you enter Walt Disney Studios Park.
53. Get Free Food When You Book a Club Room
A surprising Disneyland Paris budget hack is to book a Club Room at a Disneyland Paris hotel.
For a bit of extra cost, you’ll get free breakfast, hot drinks all day, and tasty tea-time treats in a private lounge. It’s a fab way to save money on meals in the park. 📌 Check out my post which spills the beans on all the Club Level benefits.
54. Book Your Next Trip in the Sales
Disneyland Paris offers package deals on park tickets and hotel stays at certain parts of the year, so if you’re flexible with your dates, you could score a bargain for your next trip.
