Luggage Storage for Disneyland Paris: The Best Spots to Stash Your Bags
Visiting Disneyland Paris but stuck with luggage? Whether it’s arrival day, departure day, or you just need need to stash your suitcase while hopping between the parks and Paris, you’ll want a safe place to store your bags. Here’s a breakdown of your top options on luggage storage for Disneyland Paris and Paris city.
1. Official Luggage Storage for Disneyland Paris (Consigne at the Main Park)
📍 Located at the entrance to Disneyland Park. You will need to first have your bag screened at security check before proceeding to the Luggage Storage office on the right side of the main park.
Prices (Per Bag/Article Per Day):
- Small Bag: €10
- Medium Bag: €13
- Large Bag: €15
- Accessories (e.g., umbrellas): €4
Opening Hours: Check when you drop off your luggage. *In my experience, it has always closed at 15 minutes before the park closes (meaning you will need to skip the fireworks). But the Disneyland Paris website lists it shutting at 45 minutes after the park closes.
Pros:
✅ Super convenient—right by the park entrance.
✅ Staffed and secure.
✅ Easy to access.
Cons:
❌ Can get pricey if you have multiple small bags or large suitcases.
❌ Space might be limited during peak times.
❌ When they close 15 minutes before the park does, you won’t be able to stay for the fireworks.
2. Hotel Storage (Free for Guests)
📍 At Disney Hotels or partner hotels like Moxy Val d’Europe.
Most Disneyland Paris hotels and offsite hotels offer free luggage storage for guests before check-in and after check-out. Just ask at the reception.
Pros:
✅ Free! No extra costs.
✅ Great if you’re staying on-site or nearby.
Cons:
❌ Not ideal if you want to head straight to the parks after arriving by train to Disneyland Paris.
❌ You’ll need to return to your hotel before travelling home, which could add on extra time.
3. Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy Train Station (Gare de Chessy)
📍 Located next to Disneyland Paris.
A popular option for storing luggage for Disneyland Paris is at the adjacent train station. Marne-la-Vallee/Chessy Station offers secure luggage lockers. You will need to put your bag through a security check before depositing in a locker (pictured above left).
- Prices at the time of writing: €5.50 small locker, €7.50 medium locker, €9.50 large locker (rate per additional 24 hours €5.50).
- Cash only – in COINS. A change machine is provided and will accept €5 or €10 notes.
- Opening Hours: 07:00 to 22:00 Monday to Sunday.
Pros:
✅ Close to Disneyland Paris—only a short walk away.
✅ Convenient for train travellers. It is recommended to collect your luggage 20 minutes before your departure at Chessy.
✅ More affordable than Disney’s storage for larger items or if you can combine several small items in one locker.
Cons:
❌ Cash only (see above).
❌ Limited locker availability during busy periods.
❌ Lockers are self-service, so very little staff assistance.
4. Luggage Storage in Paris City
If you’re exploring Paris before or after Disneyland, plenty of options are available:
- Luggage Storage and Nannybag: Popular platforms offering short-term luggage storage at local businesses like cafes and shops.
- Approx. €5–€8 per bag per day.
- Flexible locations across Paris.
- Train Stations: Paris’s major train stations have lockers you can rent by the day – Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse and Gare de Marne-la-Vallée Chessy (as above). Check out hours, locations and the full details for Paris Train Station Lockers. Prices vary, but here’s a general guide:
- Small: €5–€7
- Medium: €8–€10
- Large: €12–€15
Pros:
✅ Lots of locations to choose from, perfect if you’re sightseeing.
✅ Affordable for smaller bags.
✅ Flexible drop-off and pick-up times.
Cons:
❌ Not as convenient if you’re just visiting Disneyland Paris.
❌ Requires an extra stop on your journey.
Which Option Should You Choose?
- For ultimate convenience: Use the Disneyland Paris storage at the park entrance.
- To save money: Check your bags at your hotel for free or use Chessy Station lockers.
- For Paris exploring: Platforms like Luggage Storage, Nanny Bag or train station lockers (especially at Chessy near the parks) are the way to go.
👱🏻♀️ My Take: A Combo Approach
I love to cram a lot into my Disneyland Paris trips (who doesn’t?), and to maximise my time, I usually mix and match storage options. On arrival day, I drop my bags at the hotel because it’s free and easy, leaving me free to run straight to the rides. On departure day, I splurge a little on the park’s luggage storage. It’s so handy for making a quick getaway to catch the Eurostar—though, I’ll admit, I sometimes cut it a bit fine… oops. Priorities, right? 🎢🚆
