Once Upon A Very Royal August

Get the tiaras out of storage — World Princess Week is coming back to Disneyland Paris, and this year it lands right in the thick of the summer holidays: 15 to 23 August 2026. Nine days of extra princess appearances, a brand new Castle Stage show, and enough photo opportunities to fill an entire camera roll.

If you’re already deep in summer planning, this sits alongside the new Disney Princess Cavalcade, which debuted on 24 July 2026 in Disney Adventure World with Moana, Raya, Rapunzel and Tiana leading the way. Between the cavalcade and this week of extras, this is shaping up to be the most princess-heavy summer Disneyland Paris has run in a while.

Here’s everything I know so far, and I’ll keep updating this as more gets confirmed closer to the date.

👑 Where To Spot The Princesses During World Princess Week (Complete List)

There are five things to build your day around:

1. Good Morning & Good Night Waves at the Train Station

Minnie or the Disney Princesses will send you off at the start of your day and wave you goodnight as the park closes, both from the train station on Main Street. Worth timing your arrival or your exit around if you want the photo.

2. Storytime With Belle

A dedicated storytime slot with Belle, likely inside the the former Annual Pass Office (near the entrance to Discoveryland) from around 12:30-17:30. Village dress. Book in hand. Iconic.

✏️ Tip: Kids are usually given a spot at the front to sit — get there early, because it fills up fast and nobody wants to be the parent hoisting a five-year-old onto their shoulders at the back.

3. New Castle Stage Show

A brand new show on Castle Stage, with a live singer and princesses performing a run of classic Disney Princess songs.

Showtimes aren’t in the DLP app yet, but have been reported as 14:55, 16:05 and 16:50. Because these aren’t official yet, treat them as a guide rather than gospel — the schedule could shift, or the show could be pulled at short notice (ie for bad weather conditions).

Note: This one’s replacing Sleeping Beauty’s Royal Waltz for the week, so don’t go looking for that one if you’re visiting during Princess Week.

4. Princess Photo Moments — Pocahontas, Snow White & Merida

These are set up as themed roped-off areas rather than a formal meet and greet — you’ll approach as a crowd, wave, and get your photo with the princess behind a barrier or the rope line.

🌿 Pocahontas: Frontierland

Near Cowboy Cookout in Frontierland Pocahontas will probably be scouting nature trails and generally being cooler than I ever will.

🍎 Snow White: Fantasyland

This is a real hidden gem: Take the path on the far left side of the castle, and as you approach Fantasyland you’ll find her near La Chaumière des Sept Nains at her lovely little cottage (the shop near the back of the castle and the Snow White ride). This could not be cuter!

🏹 Merida: Frontierland

Merida has her archery practice set up near Critter Corral snack stand, close to the Frontierland Railroad Depot. She might let you hold her bow. (Um. Probably not.)

Tip: If you’re quick with the camera, you can angle it so your child appears to be standing right in front of the princess, even with the rope between you.

5. Moana Magic Shot

A dedicated Moana ‘Magic Shot’ will be available during the week. This is where you’ll get your picture taken and later on, when you check your photo online, a magical character will also be there with you.

Note: This is new for 2026, so I’m not certain exactly where this will be set up, but in previous years, a PhotoPass photographer was near the Frontierland gates.

👉 GOOD TO KNOW: It’s understood that princesses are only meeting individuals and families for photos at the Princess Pavilion, which works with a Virtual Queue (and spots fill up instantly), all other princesses are a quick selfie situation!

So, if it’s personal photos/autographs you’re after, you’ll need a dining reservation at Auberge de Cendrillon, La Table Lumiere or Regal View. OR, use the Virtual Queue for Princess Pavilion, which is free.

Princess Snacks & Drinks

What’s a royal celebration without themed snacks? We don’t yet have menus for Princess Week 2026, but here’s what was offered last year:

  • Rapunzel’s Best. Shake. Ever. – a fan-favourite returning this year.
  • Tiana’s Royal Bayou Cake – soft, sweet, and as dreamy as New Orleans at sunset.
  • Flounder’s Splash – a tropical-inspired cocktail and mocktail at the Fleur de Lys Bar in the Disneyland Hotel.
  • The Triplet Treat – a cheeky nod to Merida’s brothers Hamish, Harris, and Hubert.

👱🏻‍♀️My top tip: These treats are very Instagram-friendly but also tend to sell out quickly (especially at Victoria’s). Aim for earlier in the day if there’s something you really want.

Pro Tips For Disneyland Paris Princess Week

Try to arrive early for snacks & grab merch when you see it – things sell out fast.
Check the app oftenvirtual queues for the Princess Pavilion can open and close in a blink.
Look out for freebies – in past years, cast members have handed out collector cards and hotels have given out Princess Week badges.
Plan for heat – it’s August, so bring water, a fan, and maybe a poncho if the skies decide to be dramatic. Check out all my best tips for August, including attraction closures and park hours.
Dress the part – kids and adults alike. A crown, a tutu, or even just sparkly Minnie ears… it’s Princess Week, after all.

FAQs for World Princess Week at Disneyland Paris

A few quick answers to the questions we hear most:

When is World Princess Week 2026 at Disneyland Paris?

15 to 23 August 2026.

Is the new Castle Stage show confirmed?

The show itself is confirmed, but showtimes aren’t official yet. Reported times are 14:55, 16:05 and 16:50 — treat these as provisional until they appear in the DLP app.

Will Sleeping Beauty’s Royal Waltz still be running?

No — it’s being replaced by the new Castle Stage show for the week.

Does Princess Week Disneyland Paris happen every year?

Yes! It’s become a regular summer tradition. Each year the line-up changes slightly, but you can always expect princesses, themed treats, and a lot of sparkle. The date shifted slightly this year, but it usually happens around mid to late August.

What times do activities run?

Princess Week runs all day, but key events (like appearances) are typically late morning to early afternoon. Princess Minnie often opens the day on Main Street, and you may catch a princess-y goodnight moment too.

Can I meet all 13 princesses in one trip?

Not usually — they’re spread across different locations and schedules. But with time, luck and planning, you can see several.

Are the princess photo moments a meet and greet / Do they do autographs?

Not individually. You’ll view Pocahontas, Snow White and Merida in a themed roped-off area as part of a crowd, rather than getting an individual meet and greet slot.
