New Disneyland Paris Meal Plan 2027: Prices and How They Work

If you’ve ever tried to explain the difference between the Standard, Plus, Extra Plus and Premium Meal Plans to me in the past, you’ll know it usually ends in a slightly glazed look and a ‘can you just tell me which one to pick.’

Well, if that’s you too, there’s good news for us! New meal plans are coming very soon. We’re getting four new plans: Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal — and it’s looking like they’re a lot simpler to use now.

Here’s what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and what you’ll want to know about the Disneyland Paris Meal Plan 2027 edition before the new packages go live.

When Does This Actually Start?

The new Meal Plans apply to arrivals from 1st April 2027, and they’ll become bookable when the new Disneyland Paris packages are released in early September 2026.

If you’ve already got a Meal Plan booked for a trip before that date, you can relax — this doesn’t touch your existing booking at all. Nothing to change, nothing to rebook. Carry on as you were.

Breakfast Just Got a Lot More Flexible

This is the bit I’m happiest about. Under the current system, your breakfast location is pretty much fixed to your own hotel breakfast buffet. But, from April 2027, you get to choose:

  • Breakfast in Disney Village
  • Breakfast inside the parks
  • Breakfast at your hotel
  • Or no breakfast at all

So if the idea of legging it back to your hotel to queue for croissants after Extra Magic Time isn’t appealing (you’re not alone), you can simply opt out and use that meal credit money elsewhere.

Choose How Many Lunch/Dinner Meals You Want

How much do you want to eat in a day on the meal plan? You now can pick if you want one or two meals, and it’s completely up to you if you want to use your meal plan credit for lunchtime or dinner time if you only choose one meal per day.

  • One meal per day — lunch OR dinner
  • Two meals per day — lunch AND dinner

And here’s a detail that’s easy to miss: choosing one meal a day doesn’t mean the same meal every day. You could have dinner on Monday and lunch on Tuesday. Little bit of flexibility that makes the whole thing feel far less rigid.

Then, Choose Your Plan Level

This is the part where a bit of planning pays off, because your plan level decides which restaurants you can actually eat at.

At a glance:

PlanEligible restaurantsHotel access
Essential18Davy Crockett Ranch, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe + selected park/village locations
Extra25Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge + all Essential locations and more
Signature30Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel + all Essential/Extra locations and more
Royal34Disneyland Hotel + all lower-tier locations, plus eligible character dining

One important note if you’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel: you’ll need to choose either Signature or Royal — Essential and Extra aren’t available for that hotel on the Disneyland Paris meal plan 2027 edition.

(We’ll be doing a full breakdown of exactly which restaurants sit in which tier in the next post, so if you’re the sort of planner who likes to know precisely where your dinner is happening in April 2027 already, that one’s for you.)

Once you’ve settled on a tier, the next job is actually getting a table at the restaurants you want — here’s my full guide to booking Disneyland Paris dining reservations.

So Why Book a Meal Plan At All?

A few reasons this tends to appeal, especially if you’re planning your first trip:

  • Your food budget is sorted before you even fly, which is one less thing to think about mid-holiday
  • Children go on the plan at half price
  • No bill-splitting or menu-anxiety at the table — it’s already covered
  • You can shape it around how you actually eat, breakfast included or not
  • Table-service and all-you-can-eat restaurants in particular tend to offer the best value when booked this way

What Happens Next

The full programme, restaurant lists and 2027 pricing become bookable in early September, alongside the new Disneyland Paris packages. We’ll have a deeper dive into the Essential vs Extra vs Signature vs Royal comparison coming very soon, plus a look at whether the meal plan is actually worth it depending on how your family eats.

For now, if you’ve got a trip in mind for after April 2027, it’s worth keeping half an eye on this one. Sign up for our Tuesday News Club and I’ll let you know as soon as that drops:
