Disney Dining Reservations and Availability

First, you should know that there are many restaurants in Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park you won’t need a reservation for.

Those familiar with the old Disney Dining Plan in Disney World Florida will recognise these as being the Quick Service eateries. They might also be called Counter Service restaurants. In other words, places you can walk up to and place an order (or use Mobile Order). Then, you will find your own seat at one of the many tables inside and/or outside.

The other type of restaurant where you will be served by a waiter or waitress is called Table Service. When we talk about booking restaurants Disneyland Paris, we will be referring to these Table Service establishments.

Where do I Find a List of All the Disneyland Paris Restaurants?

If you go to the dining section on the Disneyland Paris website, you can filter by type of restaurant (Quick Service, Table Service) and look at their menus and prices.

This is what the Disneyland Paris website will look like on a desktop computer. Filter by ‘Type of Service.’
This is how it looks on your mobile. You want to click ‘Filter by’ then select Type. Click DONE. Then, scroll all the way down and you will see All-you-can-eat buffet a little way down. Table service is towards the bottom.

What are the Most Popular Restaurants in Disneyland Paris?

The more popular the restaurant, the harder it is to get a table.

Most Difficult Reservations

Currently, the most difficult reservations for non-Disney hotel guests are:

Restaurants with More Availability

Restaurants that usually have more reservations available are:

  • Agrabah Cafe Restaurant in Disneyland Park
  • Capt Jack’s Restaurant des Pirates in Disneyland Park
  • Most Disney hotel restaurants (see Tip #8)

How Do I Make a Disneyland Paris Restaurant Booking?

You will make a reservation for any (or all) of these fantastic restaurants in the same way on the Disneyland Paris app.

To guarantee a Disney Dining reservation, book via the Disneyland Paris app up to 2 months in advance. Or, if you are staying in a Disney hotel, you can make a dining reservation up to 12 months in advance.

What if I Can’t Get a Disney Dining Reservation in Disneyland Paris? What if the Tables Are Sold Out?

We have all been there. You have just booked a last-minute trip to Disneyland Paris only to find nothing available at all the incredible restaurants you have heard about.

You might even have booked several months in advance and are still frustrated to find your favourite restaurant is all booked up.

Not to worry.

Here are 9 expert tips on how to get a Disney Dining Reservation when they are sold out or not showing as available.

How to Get a Disney Dining Reservation
Tip #1:
Use Technology to Your Advantage

You’ll need your phone or computer for these to ways to get a Disneyland Paris restaurant.

Disneyland Paris App

While you can use a web browser to book a table, using the Disneyland Paris app is probably easier.

So, Step 1 when booking restaurants in Disneyland Paris is to download the Disneyland Paris app.

Once you have logged into the app, check periodically if your preferred restaurant has tables. If you find what you want, then your job is done!

But if nothing is available, don’t stress. This is quite common, and I have many more ways you can get a reservation.

DLP Tables

One of my favourite ways to get a reservation at Disneyland Paris when they are sold out, is by using DLP Tables.

DLP Tables is a helpful reservation-checking service. Sign up for a subscription and they will alert you immediately when a table becomes available.

Tip #2:
Be Persistent. But, Remember That Timing Is Everything

Plans change, and people will often cancel their Disney table reservations. So, if you have the patience, you can scoop up cancelled tables from 2 months until right before your trip.

But don’t spend too much time on it.

✏️ PRO TIP Although tables can (and do) become available at any time, you will probably have better luck nearer to the time. So be sure to check the app from 3 days before your trip all the way up to the same day for last-minute cancellations.

👱🏻‍♀️ MY EXPERIENCE On my family’s last visit to Disney, I checked the app at 9 pm the evening before. The character breakfast at Plaza Gardens and the princess meal at Auberge de Cendrillon were both available! Even though nothing had been free for the previous 2 months.

Tip #3:
Be Direct

If you paid for a hotel package through Disney, you should be able to get them to book a table for you by calling directly.

You can ring Disneyland Paris for a Disney Dining reservation at +33 1 60 30 40 50. They tend to have more flexibility if you have a Disney Hotel room than if you are staying off-site.

👱🏻‍♀️ My Experience with Telephone Reservations

Truth be told, I have not had any better success with the telephone number than the app, as they seem to have the same restaurant table allocation.

Plus, it is an international phone number so it could be an expensive phone call depending on your calling plan.

But if you are struggling with the app, and have international minutes available, you may want to give them a call if you have booked a Disney hotel package.

Tip #4:
Ask the Right Person

If you are staying at a Disneyland Paris hotel, try emailing your hotel concierge about a table.

Quote your booking number, name and dates of stay and politely ask if they might have a reservation for your desired restaurant.

It is even more likely to work if you are staying in the Disney Hotel New York – Art of Marvel and want to eat at Downtown or Manhattan. This is because they will hold back table reservations at those restaurants for their own hotel guests. The same goes for La Table Lumiere at the Disneyland Hotel.

Your hotel concierge should also be able to check reservations for the restaurants in the Disneyland parks.

  • The email address for Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel guests: DL*********************@****ey.com
  • For Newport Bay guests: dl******************@****ey.com
  • For Sequoia Lodge guests: dl******************@****ey.com
  • For Cheyenne guests: dl******************@****ey.com
  • For Santa Fe guests: dl******************@****ey.com
  • For Disneyland Hotel guests: Phone: +33 (0) 1 60 45 65 00

Tip #5:
Staying Offsite? It Pays to Visit the Hotel Directly

If you are not staying at Disneyland Paris Hotel, you can still snag that exclusive table for your family.

Want to eat at La Table Lumiere in the Disneyland Hotel, or Downtown and Manhattan Restaurant in Hotel New York? Visit the hotel concierge in the main lobby of their hotels on the day you arrive. The concierge is there to help every guest. Although they will ask you if you are staying in the hotel, they will still assist you if you are not.

The hotel concierge may have a table available that same day, but if not, they often can offer you a table in 2-3 days. This is handy if you will be on holiday in Disneyland for a bit longer.

How to Get a Disney Dining Reservation Tip #6:
Consider the Timing of Your Meal

In France, people tend to eat dinner later. For example, Downtown’s earliest table reservation is at 6 pm, with the latest around 11:30 pm.

If you can be flexible or eat later, you will find more reservations are available.

Consider changing your search from a dinner reservation to an early lunch reservation. Eating at less popular times will help you make a Disney Dining reservation when they are otherwise sold out.

Tip #7:
Nothing Beats Face-To-Face

PYM Kitchen, along with Plaza Gardens, Auberge de Cendrillon, Captain Jack’s, Walt’s an American Diner and Bistrot Chez Remy are all located inside the Disneyland Paris parks.

On the morning of the day you want your reservation, pop over to the restaurant and see if they have any tables for you.

They hold a few tables back for walk-ins, and they often have cancellations. So you may be in luck!

Tip #8:
All You Can Eat (Without the Stress)

The Disneyland Paris Hotel Buffet Restaurants

Did you know that anyone can eat at the Disney hotel restaurants for dinner? They are not just for hotel guests.

The following are my recommendations for buffet-style restaurants that almost always have plenty of availability on the Disneyland Paris app:

  • La Cantina at Santa Fe – serving Tex Mex (nachos, fajitas)
  • Chuck Wagon at Hotel Cheyenne – serving American, Tex-Mex (BBQ ribs, salads)
  • Hunter’s Grill at Sequoia Lodge – serving traditional rustic food (meat and vegetarian dishes, mashed potatoes, gravy)
  • Cape Cod at Newport Bay – serving fish and seafood specialities
  • Royal Banquet at Disneyland Hotel. The only character meal in a Disneyland Paris hotel, enjoy upscale contemporary cuisine and fresh seafood with Mickey and Minnie in their royal outfits. Note: Disneyland Paris reopened the Disneyland Hotel in 2024. Reservations are more limited as it is still relatively new.
🤓 GOOD TO KNOW
  • The Disney hotel restaurants all serve approximately the same breakfast buffet of pastries, cereals, eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, pancakes and fruit.
  • You need to be a hotel guest to eat at the hotel breakfast.
  • The dinner buffet is more tailored to each hotel. But, it will always include vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as a wide variety of desserts.
  • The dinner buffet can be booked by anyone on the Disneyland Paris app. You don’t need to be a hotel guest.

Disney Village Buffet Restaurants

Billy Bob’s Buffet / La Grange (at Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon)

Disney hotels are not the only places you can get a smashing buffet meal.

In the Disney Village, you can dine at Billy Bob’s Buffet or La Grange. Both of these are at Billy Bob’s Western Saloon and serve the same food. La Grange is upstairs and Billy Bob’s is downstairs.

Both restaurants can be reserved on the Disneyland Paris app. You can also get an alert for reservations at La Grange / Billy Bob’s using DLP Tables.

Tip #9:
Skip the Reservation Altogether!

Here’s a secret: A few Table-Service restaurants at Disneyland Paris serve excellent food you do not need a reservation for!

If you have tried all the above for your favourite spots, and still can’t get a reservation, consider dining in one of these table-service restaurants instead.

Table-Service Restaurants in Disney Village

Annette’s Diner

More affordable than the other Disneyland Table Service Restaurants, Annette’s is a fan-favourite American 1950s-themed diner.

For breakfast (usually until 11:30 am) they do an English-style plate for €15.00 including a drink. They also offer lunch and dinner classics like hamburgers, hot dogs, milkshakes and fries. These are offered as a set menu or a la carte.

You may even get served by someone on roller skates!

Annette’s is located in the Disney Village and they do not take table reservations.

Rainforest Cafe

If you are looking for a lively atmosphere with your meal, Rainforest Cafe is styled as an Amazon jungle. Animatronic birds, elephants and gorillas create a cacophony of sound to a backdrop of sudden tropical rainstorms clearing to a star-filled sky.

The large menu has burgers, pasta, fish and chips, fajitas, salads and more.

The Rainforest Cafe is located in the Disney Village and does not take reservations.

Selection of food at Vapiano Disney Village Disneyland Paris: pizza, scampi salad and calzone
A selection of meals from Vapiano in Disney Village

Vapiano

If fast, casual dining is what you’re after in a restaurant, Vapiano is an excellent choice.

Located in the Disney Village next to Five Guys, Vapiano does not take reservations. The menu is Mediterranean Italian (pizza/pasta) and made fresh in front of you.

🤓 GOOD TO KNOW At Vapiano, you won’t have a traditional table server. You will find your own table, place your order on the app and your food and drink will be delivered to you.

King Ludwig’s Castle now called The Royal Pub

Themed as a medieval Bavarian dining hall, King Ludwig’s Castle was a banquet hall fit for knights. It closed, was refurbished and reopened in British-theming as The Royal Pub.

The menu features burgers, fish and chips pub specials and desserts.

The Royal Pub is in the Disney Village and does not take reservations.

Planet Hollywood

Unfortunately, Planet Hollywood in the Disney Village was closed in January 2023.

🚨Newest Restaurant: Brasserie Rosalie

There is a considerable amount of construction taking place in Disney Village right now. Most recently, a lovely new seafood restaurant has opened – Brasserie Rosalie.

You can book this restaurant online at Brasserie Rosalie.

Cancelling your unwanted reservations is easy to do in the Disneyland Paris app.

Tip #10: When Booking Restaurants Disneyland Paris – Do a Good Deed for Another Guest!

If fortune is upon you and you get more table reservations than you can use, then be sure to cancel your surplus reservations.

Disneyland Paris is generous with its reservation policy, and there is usually no penalty for not showing up to your reservation. But, by not cancelling, you are preventing another family from having a table for themselves.

Do a good deed and cancel your extraneous bookings because you never know when you will need the favour returned.

With these 9 tips, booking restaurants at Disneyland Paris is a piece of cake.

Whether you are having breakfast with Tigger, lunch with Cinderella, dinner with Capt. Jack or shrinking to the size of a rat in Chez Remy, your Disney Dining experience will be magical.
