How I Found the Cheapest Way to Stay at Disneyland Paris
As an Annual Passholder on a budget, I value being able to return to the Disney parks several times a year over staying in a fancy hotel. Epic rides, adorable characters, and Mickey snacks keep me and my family in the park all day and all night. So, there’s not much point in spending loads of money on a place to sleep! Here are my top recommendations for the cheapest way to stay at Disneyland Paris.
Here I’ll share where I found:
- The cheapest Disneyland Paris hotels (with Disney hotel guest perks!)
- My favourite and cheapest Disney Partner hotels
- Hotels near Disneyland Paris with FREE shuttles
- And even more budget options including Villages Nature, camping and Air BnB

Cheapest Disneyland Paris Hotels
Disney onsite hotels are not always the cheapest way to stay at Disneyland Paris. But, if you need to buy park tickets, and if you are travelling at a less popular time, I find it usually works out cheapest to book a package holiday directly with Disneyland Paris. This is because Disney will give you a big discount on park tickets when you stay at their hotels.
Of course you can blow the budget and go 5-star! However, there are two value hotels I think you should consider if you’re on a budget. My favourite Disneyland Paris cheap hotels are Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe (I even have full Review of Hotel Cheyenne VS Santa Fe so you can compare them).
Benefits of Booking a Disney Hotel for Disneyland Paris
If you book your Disney hotel with Disney directly, it automatically comes with Disneyland Paris park tickets. Those tickets are heavily discounted, making that the number one reason for booking a Disney hotel. More benefits include:
- Free dedicated shuttle to the parks
- Disney theming throughout the resort and in your hotel room
- Extra Magic Time
- Disney character meets at the hotel
- Hotel locations nearest to the parks
- Ability to make Disney restaurant reservations before the general public
- Onsite restaurants and bars
- Access to the Disney Meal Plan

Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch
Another one of the cheapest ways to stay at Disneyland Paris is to book Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. The comfortable and rustic Disney cabins are popular with larger families as they can sleep up to 6 people.
However, be aware that Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is not reachable by shuttle or public transport. There is no Disney shuttle for this resort, and driving to Disneyland Paris is the only way to access Davy Crockett Ranch.
On the bright side, Davy Crockett Ranch guests are entitled to all other Disney hotel perks (listed above). And be sure to check out the phenomenal facilities at Davy Crockett Ranch!

Local and Partner Hotels
Are you an annual passholder? Travelling solo? For you, the Disneyland Paris hotels are often pretty expensive without that Disney park ticket discount.
So I found a cheaper way to stay at Disneyland Paris is to book an offsite hotel. These hotels are off Disney property and there are two types: Disney partner hotels OR local hotels.
Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels
Partner hotels have a special relationship with Disney. At the time of writing, the Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels include:
- Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe
- B&B Hôtel ⭐⭐
- Campanile Val de France ⭐⭐⭐
- Explorers Fabulous Hotels Group ⭐⭐⭐
- Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Ki Space Hotel & Spa ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-La-Vallée ⭐⭐⭐⭐
👱🏻♀️ My favourite budget partner hotels are B&B Hotel and Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d’Europe for consistently coming up cheapest. But they are very basic!
Features of the Disneyland Paris Partner Hotels
- DO offer a free shuttle to transport you between your accommodation and the parks (Or you can even walk from Disneyland Paris to the Adagio Hotel)
- DO have an onsite gift shop with a small selection of Disney merchandise
- DON’T automatically include Disney park tickets (try attractionstickets.com for discount tickets)
- DON’T have Disney theming in their hotels
- DON’T offer Extra Magic Time
Local Hotels for Disneyland Paris
Often I book a local hotel because they have the cheapest accommodation for Disneyland Paris when I’m travelling solo. But, aside from some selected local hotels (see below), you don’t get a free shuttle service.
So, your transport options are the RER train or a taxi (ie Uber).
🤓 GOOD TO KNOW Most people don’t realise how easy it is to take the RER metro train from Chessy/Marne la Vallee (right next to Disneyland) one stop to the Val d’Europe local hotels. It costs €2.20 for a one-way ticket and takes about 5 minutes. Then a 1-2 minute walk from Val d’Europe station will put you at Residhome Aparthotel, Ibis, Ibis Budget or the Moxy – all budget friendly hotels near Disneyland Paris.
👱🏻♀️ Ibis Val d’Europe, Residhome Val d’Europe and The Moxy are my favourite local hotels for Disneyland Paris on a budget. My family also loves Grand Magic which is a bit more expensive.
This is how my favourite hotels near Disneyland Paris compare with each other:
- Ibis Budget is usually the cheapest but it’s also the most basic. It feels like a decent hostel.
- Ibis Val d’Europe is nicer than Ibis Budget.
- Residhome Val d’Europe is more spacious as you can often get a suite for the same price as a room.
- The Moxy is the most stylish and offers the best breakfast.
- Grand Magic offers a pool and a free shuttle to the parks.
- Dream Castle has a pool, a free shuttle and is decorated in a castle theme most similar to Disney.
Local hotels generally have very little of anything Disney-related (ie no gift shop). But with the money you save, you could afford to splurge on merch in the parks!
➡️ Check out my review of Residhome Val d’Europe to see if it’s right for you. I also reviewed The Moxy in our 2-day Trip Report. And you can find out about our stay at Grand Magic.
17 Cheap Hotels Near Disneyland Paris with Free Shuttle
For a lot of people, a free shuttle is their number one priority when finding the cheapest way to stay at Disneyland Paris. Here’s a list of all the hotels near Disneyland Paris with a free shuttle.
- Disneyland Paris hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel, Disney Sequoia Lodge, Disney Newport Bay Club, Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Disney Hotel Santa Fe
- Disney Partner Hotels: Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe, B&B Hôtel, Campanile Val de France, Explorers, Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe, Ki Space Hotel & Spa, Staycity Aparthotels Paris Marne-La-Vallée
- Selected Local Hotels: Grand Magic Hotel, Hotel Dream Castle, Radisson Blu Hotel Paris Marne-la-Vallee, Relais Spa Val d’Europe
Les Villages Nature Paris
Les Villages Nature Paris is part of the Center Parcs group in the UK, except it has better swimming facilities, it’s bigger and generally you get better weather in France.
Is it the cheapest? It is if you have a family of 5, enjoy more space, or don’t need a park ticket for every day of your holiday.
Les Villages Nature does not offer a shuttle service to the parks, but there is a paid, local bus you can catch. Ask at check-in and they will direct you. The journey takes a little over 20 minutes, so you might consider driving if you have a car.
👱🏻♀️ MY EXPERIENCE We stayed at Villages Nature for 5 days and did the Disney parks for 2 of those days. My teens enjoyed the swimming and waterslides at Villages Nature as much as being at Disney! Our spacious lodge was well-maintained, and we had so much fun with on-site activities like bowling, boating, and karaoke.
✏️ PRO TIP The cheapest way to book Villages Nature is in the January sale directly through their website (it’s easy to change the language setting to English or your home language).
Alternative Cheap Accommodation for Disneyland Paris
Campervans
If you are touring France in your campervan, consider taking it to Disneyland Paris.
It costs €40 to park your campervan in the camping section of the Disney car park. As far as I know, the facility block is currently closed, but you do qualify for Extra Magic Time in the parks just like Disney hotel guests.
📌 Check the Disneyland Paris website for more parking information.
Camping
Another top tip for getting the cheapest Disneyland Paris accommodation is to stay at one of the local campsites. Dreams in Paris lists the best campsites nearby and their facilities.
Privately-Owned Apartments
Another option for staying at Disneyland Paris on a budget is arranging privately-owned accommodation.
In honesty I prefer a hotel than Air BnB, but I know loads of people who love it! Some apartments are even walking distance to the parks. Air BnB can be good value if you are with a group of friends or have small children and want to have catering facilities.
