If you’re anything like me, you love the magic of Disney but could do without the loooong waits in line. After countless visits and lots of patience, I’ve compiled a list of the rides and attractions with the longest waits at Disneyland Paris.
So, let’s dive in and prepare for Disney’s best experiences (with the worst queues!). I’ll also share my BEST tips for avoiding the queues so you can maximise your Disneyland Paris park day.
Top 10 Longest Waits at Disneyland Paris (And Tips to Avoid Them!)
So, here’s the deal: I’m ranking the top 10 rides and attractions at Disneyland Paris, from the longest waits to the shortest.
Let’s be real—nobody likes waiting in line, right? But knowing which rides are the busiest can help you plan your day like a pro.
Plus, I’ll throw in some of my best tips to help you dodge those long queues, so you can squeeze the most into your day!
#10 Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
– Average Wait 45 Minutes
Get ready to sling webs with Spidey! Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is the newest attraction at Disneyland Paris, and believe me, everyone wants a shot at this awesome simulator ride. Expect a bit of a wait, but hey, it’s Spidey we’re talking about!
🚀 For a speedier queue, head to Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure around 8 pm when it is at its lowest.
#9 The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
– Average Wait 55 Minutes
I absolutely adore the theming of the Tower of Terror. But for those of you who aren’t keen on free-falling, just thinking about it while waiting is daunting.
But trust me, the ride is a thrilling drop into the unknown that you won’t want to miss!
🚀From 6 pm onwards you will see wait times seriously drop – so take advantage and ride Tower of Terror twice – if you dare!
#8 Orbitron
– Average Wait 60 Minutes
Ahh, Orbitron! A family favourite for sure. The only catch? It has very limited capacity, which leads to a surprisingly long line. But the views from up there are pretty spectacular, so it’s worth the wait if you can hang in there.
🚀 For the shortest queue, fly on Orbitron in Extra Magic Time or right before the park closes.
#7 Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
– Average Wait 60 Minutes
This Star Wars-themed roller coaster is an absolute favourite for my thrill-seeking family! Hyperspace Mountain is one of the rides unique to Disneyland Paris, so it tends to get pretty busy.
🚀 If you can, plan your outer space mission on Hyperspace Mountain in Extra Magic Time or in the evening when the line gets shorter.

#6 Big Thunder Mountain
– Average Wait 60 Minutes
Arguably Big Thunder Mountain is the best ride at Disneyland Paris! It’s fantastic in the daytime and at night. That also means the line can get pretty lengthy. But, trust me, ‘The wildest ride in the wilderness’ is worth it!
🚀 My queue strategy: I love Big Thunder Mountain first thing in the morning, but the ride has broken down on us (more than once) in Extra Magic Time. So be prepared to dash it across the park if it closes. However, if you’re willing to skip the fireworks, you can also find there’s only a short wait near the end of the night.
🤓 FUN FACT Disneyland Paris’ Big Thunder Mountain is the only Disney park version situated on an island. If the ride every breaks down, guests are taken back across by boat (they were part of an original ride that was planned but eventually cancelled!)
#5 Meet Mickey
– Average Wait 75 Minutes
Meeting the one and only Mickey Mouse is always a highlight for me! Of course that makes Meet Mickey one of the longest waits at Disneyland Paris. So, don’t forget to pack your patience pants.
The good news? They show adorable Mickey films while you wait, so you can soak up that Disney magic indoors and let the kids rest on the floor for a bit.
TOP TIP Meet Mickey isn’t open for Extra Magic Time, so don’t waste your precious morning in this queue first thing.
🚀 I recommend heading to Meet Mickey over after 6 pm when many of the young families are leaving the park.
#4 Ratatouille: The Adventure
– Average Wait 85 Minutes
Immerse yourself in Rémy’s world, but be ready to wait! This is a popular ride for the whole family, and with low capacity, the queue can get pretty ugly.
🚀 If you don’t mind being split from your party, the single rider line is often just 5 minutes. Otherwise, it might be worth buying a Premier Access One.
🤓 GOOD TO KNOW The waiting area inside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is pretty cool, and you’ll miss it if you use Single Rider or Premier Access.
#3 Peter Pan’s Flight
– Average Wait 87 Minutes
For such a classic ride, Peter Pan is surprisingly popular! I always feel like this particular wait stretches on forever while the magical experience only lasts a few minutes. But, taking a flying pirate ship over Neverland is a piece of nostalgia you can’t miss, especially if you have kids.
I highly suggest doing Peter Pan’s Flight during Extra Magic Time or right when the park opens to save your sanity. And bring snacks.
#2 Crush’s Coaster
– Average Wait 100 Minutes
Get ready for an under-the-sea adventure! Crush’s Coaster is a suuuuper popular spinning coaster, and trust me, the queue feels even longer than it is!
If your budget allows, definitely snag a Premier Access One pass for Crush’s Coaster. Alternatively, the Single Rider line cuts the wait down to about half.
#1 Princess Pavilion
– Average Wait 100 Minutes
Now, if meeting your favourite princesses is at the top of your list, you’ve got to brace yourself for this one. The wait here is well known for being the longest in the park. But for die-hard princess fans like me, royal encounters are worth every minute. Plus, there are cool princess artefacts inside (like the Magic Mirror pictured above).
🤓 GOOD TO KNOW In the Princess Pavilion, you can only meet one Disney Princess and she is chosen randomly for you.
If you want to meet more than one princess (and don’t fancy growing old while you do it 😉), book a character meal. Auberge de Cendrillon and La Table Lumiere pair fine dining with 3 Disney princesses and their pals – without the wait.
