Let’s set the scene: it’s the end of a long, sunny park day. Maybe you stayed for the fireworks last night and today you’re ready to head out a bit earlier. Maybe your kids have officially hit their limit. Or maybe you’re just hungry now, and the thought of elbowing through crowds in the Village for a takeaway sandwich is making you wilt.

That’s where Billy Bob’s La Grange Buffet comes in—and honestly? It might just be my favourite hidden gem for a no-stress, all-you-can-eat dinner that actually delivers on flavour and fun.

What Is Billy Bob’s La Grange?

It can be a little confusing, so let’s break it down:

  • Billy Bob’s Saloon is the big, Western-themed space in Disney Village.
  • La Grange Buffet is the actual restaurant upstairs where the all-you-can-eat magic happens.
  • You can book under either name in the app—it leads to the same buffet, same cosy dining room, same dessert table of dreams.

Downstairs, there’s a bar and sometimes live music. But if you’re hungry, head upstairs.

How Hard Is It to Get a Reservation?

Here’s the thing: a lot of Disneyland Paris restaurants are hard to book—especially the popular ones like Downtown at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, Pym Kitchen in Avengers Campus, and character dining like Royal Banquet.

Billy Bob’s? A breath of fresh air.

I booked this one on the same afternoon using the app, no problem at all. There was a bit of a queue when I arrived, but nothing dramatic—and even if you don’t manage to reserve, you can still walk up and queue on the day. It’s a lot more forgiving than the other options, and the dining room is spacious and welcoming with plenty of seats.

The Food: Shockingly Good (Especially If You’re Picky—or Veggie!)

As a pescatarian who really leans into the veggie side of life, I honestly wasn’t sure what I’d find. But oh my goodness—I was spoiled.

For the veggie-lovers and fish fans

Creamy gratin potatoes, roasted vegetables, veggie chili (which I’d happily eat on repeat), and perfectly cooked salmon. The salmon was genuinely delicious—flaky, flavourful, and felt like it had been made with care, not just tossed into a buffet pan. My dream plate is salmon and veggies, and that’s exactly what I got here.

Plenty of options! Ribs, sausages, roasted meat at the carving station, and even a fajita-style bar. There were several sauces to go with everything—cheesy, barbecue, you name it. Very Tex-Mex inspired, but with enough variety to keep it interesting.

For fussy eaters (big and small)

They had a whole section dedicated to simple, kid-friendly foods: plain pasta, tomato sauce, chicken nuggets, baked potatoes, cheese cubes. And trust me, if you’ve ever had to do the ‘but what will they eat?’ panic, this is a lifesaver.

Dessert Heaven (And I Am Not Being Dramatic)

Where do I even begin?

  • Caramel pots, jelly cubes, mini brownies, and so many little tartlets
  • Floating Island (œufs à la neige)—those fluffy clouds of poached meringue I’d only ever read about in French cookbooks
  • Waffles, tarts, self-serve whipped cream, and bottles of chocolate sauce

I had at least six. Possibly seven. I regret nothing.

Extra Surprises That Made Me Smile

  • Mickey-shaped Brie de Meaux (yes, really!)
  • Golden chocolate coins with Mickey and Minnie on them—kids will love these, but so will grown-ups with a sweet tooth
  • A fridge full of little ice cream pots
  • Adorable high chairs with Mickey ears—I don’t even have a toddler, but I kind of wanted to take one home
  • Festive printed macarons (mine had little Christmas trees on them)

It felt like the kind of place where you just keep discovering cute little touches.

My Final Thoughts

This place is a gem.

I went in expecting ‘decent buffet’ and came out grinning, full of salmon, red velvet cake, and far too much cheese. If you’ve had a big park day and you’re looking for something easy and satisfying, Billy Bob’s La Grange delivers—with way more charm and choice than you’d expect.

And if you’re the type who loves a little foodie adventure? Don’t skip that floating island dessert. It’s fluffy, it’s fancy, it’s fun—and where else can you find Mickey-shaped cheese to round out your night?
