🎺Disneyland Paris’s First-Ever Disney Music Festival: What You Need to Know
Disneyland Paris has just dropped an announcement that’ll have you singing your heart out (and maybe throwing in a little dance move too). The Disney Music Festival, running from 19th April to 7th September 2025, is shaping up to be the event of the year, and it’s now even bigger and better than we imagined. Live performances? Tick. Brand new shows? Tick. Minnie Mouse absolutely rocking it in her marching band outfit? BIG tick.
I’m hoping it will be a bit like Glastonbury, but without the mud! And with the adorable Minnie Mouse leading the parade. Need I say more?
📌 What’s New and Unmissable?
Disneyland Paris has released the full line-up for the Disney Music Festival, and it’s overflowing with incredible characters! Here’s everyone you can look forward to seeing:
✨ Mickey’s Welcome to Disney Music Festival
Your day kicks off with Mickey Mouse himself, greeting guests from Main Street Station in a brand-new outfit. Think dapper, musical-themed, and perfect for that holiday photo album.
✨ Musical Meet-Up with Rapunzel and Flynn
This character lineup just gets better and better! Also in Fantasyland, Rapunzel and Flynn are ready to bring some Tangled magic to the event with four talented musicians. Between Flynn’s charm and Rapunzel’s dreaminess, this will be one snuggly duckling of a show!
✨ Minnie’s Marching Band Parade
Everyone’s BFF Minnie Mouse takes centre stage in her gorgeous new outfit (I can’t wait for this!) as she leads her very own marching band down Main Street, U.S.A. We’ll get catchy tunes, bright banners, and all the feel-good vibes we all need.
If you’re not tapping your feet to this one, you’re probably standing in line for a crepe (no judgement).
✨ Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra
Over in Central Plaza, Goofy is putting his own wacky spin on orchestral magic. We don’t know exactly what Goofy’s ‘imaginary’ orchestra entails, but if it’s anything like his usual antics, you’ll be grinning ear to ear.
✨ Donald and Daisy’s Accordionists
In Fantasyland, Donald and Daisy are bringing romantic Italian charm to the Disney Music Festival with their accordion duo. It’s giving Venice gondolas, moonlit strolls, and maybe a bit of playful squabbling.
✨ Mary Poppins and Her Pearly Band
Swing by Town Square Gazebo for a supercalifragilistic performance from Mary Poppins and her Pearly Band. Expect jolly tunes, cheerful energy, and some sing-along-worthy moments. No word about the penguins, but I’ve got my fingers crossed!
✨ Moana and Her Musicians
Over in Adventureland, Moana and her band will perform sunny, tropical tunes that’ll transport you straight to Motunui. Grab a spot, soak up the music, and let Moana remind you why she’s the queen of island vibes.
✨ Miguel’s Fiesta Latina
Frontierland is getting a vibrant fiesta thanks to Miguel from Coco! Expect colourful performances filled with lively Latin rhythms that’ll have you ready to dance. ¡Viva la música!
✨ Timon’s Matadance
Returning to Adventureland, Timon’s Matadance brings the much-loved energy of the ‘Lion King and Jungle Festival.’ Hakuna Matata, anyone?
✨ See ‘Elvis’ Stitch in Discoveryland
Stitch in all his Elvis-impersonating hip-shaking glory is getting a permanent spot for the Disney Music Festival! Head to Discoveryland for some intergalactic fun with everyone’s favourite mischievous alien. I expect this to be extremely popular!
✨ Disney Music Hits Concert
Head to Videopolis in Discoveryland for a showstopping concert featuring six musicians and five singers performing Disney’s greatest hits. From golden oldies to modern anthems, this promises to be a must-see for any Disney music lover. I imagine it will be similar to the Let’s Sing Christmas show.
🛍️ Exclusive Festival Merchandise
If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to bring a piece of the Disney Music Festival home with you (besides the songs stuck in your head). Luckily, there’s brand-new merchandise (see photo above) to help you do just that.
From themed t-shirts and mugs to adorable Mickey and Minnie plushies in their musical outfits, this merch is going to fly off the shelves faster than you can say ‘Do-Re-Mi’. I’m already preparing my credit card for the damage!
