I recently had the chance to dine here and want to share everything—from booking tips to character meets, to the menu (spoiler alert: it’s pricey!). Here’s the ultimate guide for making your first visit to Auberge de Cendrillon as smooth as a royal waltz.

First-Timer Tips for Disneyland Paris Princess Dining

1. Soak Up the Atmosphere

Located behind Sleeping Beauty Castle in Fantasyland, Auberge de Cendrillon is a hidden gem. Look for Excalibur’s Sword in the Stone, and you’ll find the restaurant tucked away on the side.

Also know as Cinderella’s Inn, Auberge de Cendrillon has got all the medieval charm you’d expect from a royal-themed venue, with tapestries, stone arches, and even the pumpkin carriage parked outside.

Inside, each dining area has its own unique vibe. My favourite? ‘The Carriage Room’ with pale blue booths and chandeliers that look like something straight out of Cinderella’s ball.

Breakfast: 8:00 AM (Disney Hotel Guests & Gold Passholders only) or 9:45 AM (everyone)
Lunch: 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Dinner: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

How Much Time to Allow

Breakfast: approx. 90 minutes
Lunch/Dinner: approx. 90-120 minutes

3. Meet the Stars of the Show: The Disney Princesses

Auberge de Cendrillon is all about the characters, and you’ll be treated to some fabulous interactions with the gorgeous Princesses. Cinderella is a guaranteed meet-and-greet, and at lunch and dinner, she is joined by her mouse friends, Suzy and Perla. You’ll also meet two or three other princesses, which could include Snow White, Aurora, or even Merida on rare occasions.

💡 PRO TIP: Prep a few conversation starters—the princesses love chatting about their castles, princes, and animal friends. And don’t forget to bring an autograph book or something creative like a picture mount or plush toy for signatures. Bonus points if you’ve got a retractable Sharpie—trust me, it’s a game-changer.

4. Snag a Table: How to Book Disneyland Paris Auberge de Cendrillon – Princess Dining

Book as early as you can to grab a table at this popular character dining restaurant.

👱🏻‍♀️ My Top Tip: Know when you can book Disneyland Paris restaurants. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 12 months ahead. Staying offsite, you can book 60 days ahead. The rules change for character breakfast. Onsite guests can add breakfast to their booking by calling Disney or their travel agent. Everyone can book a character breakfast 3 days before.

6 Ways to Book Auberge de Cendrillon

Add a meal to your Disney booking online, ring Disneyland Paris, or ask your travel agent.
Once your booking is linked to your Disney account, use the Disneyland Paris app for easy reservations (see box above about when you’re allowed to book).
Similarly, you can make a reservation through the Disneyland Paris website.
Ask your Disney hotel concierge when you check-in.
Sign up for DLP Tables to get an alert for when a table becomes available (my preferred way to get a reservation!).
Try your luck in person for last-minute cancellations.

5. Pick the Perfect Time to Eat

If you’re dining at lunch or dinner, aim for a time slot around 2 PM. The restaurant is often quieter, giving you more quality time with the princesses and an unrushed experience.

However, avoid booking at the very end of the lunch period! For our 3:30 PM booking, we found that the characters went home before we even had our dessert—not quite the ending we’d hoped for…

If you’re heading to Auberge for breakfast, and are staying on site, aim to arrive early for the first seating. This is a few advantages:

Walking through the empty park in the morning is one of the best memories you can make!
It’s quieter, and you’ll have more time with the princesses before the restaurant gets busy.
You’ll still have the rest of the morning to explore Fantasyland with shorter queues.

6. Get to Know the Menu Before You Book

Let’s talk food. Opinions on the menu range from ‘Wow, delicious!’ to ‘My kids wouldn’t touch it!’

Auberge de Cendrillon offers two distinct dining experiences: breakfast and lunch or dinner. Each comes with its own charm and, of course, a variety of dishes fit for royalty. Not to mention a royal price tag! So, if you are expecting chicken nuggets and chips, this might not be the place for you.

7. Decide For Yourself, Is It Worth the Price?

The Cost of Auberge de Cendrillon

Breakfast: Adults €60, kids €40
Lunch or Dinner: Adults: €100 (€120 with wine pairings), kids €50

Good Value for Money? If meeting princesses is on your bucket list, this is the place to do it. The one-on-one time with characters is priceless, and the setting is stunning. However, for families with fussy eaters, you might feel the cost doesn’t quite match the culinary experience.

TIP: If you can crop other guests out of your picture, it will turn out even better. Finding an adjacent corner of the room or zooming in a bit can create a cleaner photograph of your family

8. Take Your Time With the Princesses

The best part of the Princess meal is the quality time you get with each character. Unlike other meet-and-greet situations, the interactions here are unrushed. Don’t feel like you need to jump up and take a two-second picture! Ask the princesses questions and pause to hear their stories—it makes for much more meaningful memories.

9. Steal These Photo Tips for Capturing the Memories

Want Instagram-worthy shots? Follow these tips:

Keep your camera and autograph materials nearby—characters can pop by at any moment.
Quickly clean children’s sticky hands and faces before snapping pics (bringing wipes is essential!).
Pose creatively—mimic princesses’ gestures, hold out your skirt or make a heart with your hands.
Bring Some Princess-Themed Props. A crown, a wand, or even a small plush sidekick (like Gus or Jaq!) adds a fun touch to pictures .
Use natural lighting near windows or zoom in to crop out distractions like other guest and empty plates of food.

🤓 GOOD TO KNOW No PhotoPass+ photographers are present at Auberge de Cendrillon, so you’ll need to take your own pictures or ask a cast-member to help you out.

10. Costumes and Accessories Add to the Magic

Dressing up adds another layer to this fairytale experience, and the characters will definitely notice you more!

For kids, princess dresses are ideal—the light-up versions look incredible after dark.

Adults can add subtle Disney touches with mouse ear headbands, Loungefly backpacks, themed T-shirts, colour-coded dresses or princess accessories. (Just remember that full costumes for adults aren’t allowed in the parks, except during special events).

11. Don’t Forget to Check Out the Famous Pumpkin Carriage

Right outside the restaurant, you’ll find Cinderella’s iconic pumpkin carriage. It’s behind a small fence, so while you can’t sit inside (sadly!), it’s perfect for a photo op.

Final Thoughts

Dining at Auberge de Cendrillon is like stepping into a fairy tale. While it’s not the cheapest option, the memories you’ll create are worth their weight in pixie dust. Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime treat or a special birthday surprise, this experience is pure Disney magic.
