Current & Upcoming Disneyland Paris Closures
(Both Parks)
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop 🪂
📅 Closed: 19th – 23rd May 2025
Your chance to drop into action with the Green Army Men is temporarily on hold! But if you’re after a thrilling descent, head over to The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror, where the freefall is bigger, spookier, and guaranteed to make you scream (in a good way).
Stitch Live! 🛸
🚧 Closed: 28th April – 27th June 2025
Stitch has left the studio—but you can still catch him causing mayhem on stage in the Disneyland Paris Music Festival, starting 19th April to 7th Sept 2025! Keep an eye (and ear) out for his musical mischief in the main park instead.
The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands 🦁
📅 Closed: 10th March – 4th April 2025
Everyone’s favourite festival in the Pride Lands is on a little break while the theatre gets some TLC. In the meantime, Mickey and the Magician in Walt Disney Studios Park is the perfect alternative for a spectacular stage show. Or, catch Disney Stars on Parade where you can catch Simba, Timon and pals in the Lion King float.

Le Carrousel de Lancelot 🎠
📅 Closed: 10th – 28th March 2025
Fantasyland’s rainbow horse carousel is getting a fresh polish, but if you’re looking for a scenic and relaxing ride, Le Pays des Contes de Fées (Storybook Boats) is a lovely alternative—with even better views!
Orbitron 🚀
📅 Closed: 24th March – Date TBA
Discoveryland’s spinning rockets are going offline, and Disney hasn’t told us when they’ll be back yet. While you wait, why not tackle challenging heights on Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror! or take a gentler flight on Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Meet Mickey Mouse 🎩
📅 Closed: 1st – 30th May 2025
If you were planning to meet the big cheese in his fancy theatre, you’ll have to catch him at Royal Banquet instead, where he’s still available for lunch and dinner. You could also try your luck at the Mysterious Meet near Phantom Manor where he often appears in his special outfit.
Mickey and the Magician 🎩✨
📅 Closed: 6th January – 20th April 2025
This must-see show is on a temporary break, but will be back dazzling guests in spring! Until then, TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure is a great alternative.
TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure 🎶
📅 Closed: 21st April – 11th July 2025
This fan-favourite Pixar musical is taking a break for a few months. If you’re visiting during this time, check out Mickey and the Magician instead!

Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland ♠️♥️
📅 Reopens: 17th May 2025
This quirky, high-energy show will be back in May! Until then, Fantasyland is still full of whimsical fun.
Big Thunder Mountain 🚧
📅 Closed: January 8, 2024 – Summer 2025 (rumoured reopening June 20th, 2025)
The wildest ride in the wilderness is having an extended refurbishment, with rumours swirling that it’ll be back by June 20th, 2025. Until then, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is your best bet for an outdoor coaster thrill or Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain for high speed loop-de-loops.
Castle Stage 🎭
📅 Closed: July 2024 – Spring 2025
The iconic Castle Stage is getting a serious makeover, with a brand-new stage, upgraded technology, and fresh backstage areas for performers. This means no castle stage shows for now, but when it returns, expect an even more dazzling lineup of entertainment! Luckily it doesn’t impact castle photos too much,
In the meantime, you can still enjoy shows like Mickey and the Magician in Walt Disney Studios Park.
Frontierland Playground 🤠
📅 Closed: Until Summer 2025
This fun little play area is shut for now. If your kids need to burn off some energy, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is a great alternative! You should also explore the caves, suspension bridge and waterfalls in Adventure Isle.
Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing 🚢
📅 Closed: Until Summer 2025
No scenic boat rides for a while! If you’re missing that leisurely pace, Le Pays des Contes de Fées or It’s a Small World are your next best options.
Studio One Shops & Restaurants 🍽️🎬 (Walt Disney Studios Park)
📅 Re-opening: 26th April 2025
The main entrance area of Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a major transformation, and everything inside is currently closed. Check out my post on the park expansion—including Studio One and Frozen World!
