Big news, Disneyland Paris fans! The construction walls are coming down, the red carpet is (metaphorically) being rolled out, and World Premiere Plaza is getting ready to make its grand debut at Walt Disney Studios Park on May 15, 2025.
If you’ve been visiting over the past year, you might have noticed that the entrance to Walt Disney Studios Park has been looking… well, a little under construction. Instead of that big Hollywood welcome, guests were met with a maze of barriers and a lot of mystery about what was happening behind the scenes.
But now? We finally get to see the finished masterpiece, and oh wow, does it look like it’s going to be stunning.
🎥 From Backstage Pass to Hollywood Star
For years, stepping into Walt Disney Studios Park felt a little like sneaking in through the back entrance of a film set. It had its charm, but it wasn’t quite the glitzy Hollywood welcome you’d hope for.
That’s all about to change. World Premiere Plaza is bringing the full-on golden age of Hollywood fantasy right to the entrance, setting the stage for your Disneyland Paris adventure in the best way possible.
Here’s what’s new:
🌴 Hollywood glamour everywhere – palm trees, neon signs, and a classic Hollywood skyline that will make you feel like you’ve stepped onto Sunset Boulevard (minus the traffic).
🏛️ A giant Walt Disney Studios Burbank façade – because if we can’t all hop on a plane to LA, Disneyland Paris is bringing LA to us.
💡 Projection-mapped LA landmarks – like the Griffith Observatory, glowing under twinkling lights, because why have a regular entrance when you can have one that feels like a movie set?
✨ A grand entrance that actually feels grand – instead of slipping in through a soundstage, you’ll step right into a world of cameras, premieres, and red carpet dreams.
🛍️ What’s Opening?
It’s not just a new entrance—World Premiere Plaza is bringing a whole new sparkle to Walt Disney Studios Park, with a brand-new shop and a shiny new quick-service restaurant. And honestly? They both sound like places I could happily spend far too much time in.
🎭 Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique
Step into a space that feels like a fabulous 1920s department store had a very enthusiastic run-in with Mickey Mouse himself. Think: elegant Art Deco style, stylish displays, and more hidden Mickeys than you could possibly count.
And right in the middle of it all? A golden Mickey statue, beautifully designed by legendary Disney animator Eric Goldberg (yes, that Eric Goldberg—Genie, Mushu, the whole gang). It’s the kind of detail that makes shopping here feel extra special—like you’re picking up a side of animation history along with your souvenirs.
🍔 Hollywood Gardens Restaurant
This quick-service spot is all about that dreamy, starry-night Los Angeles vibe—the kind of place where it always feels like twilight, no matter the time of day. There’ll be twinkling lights overhead, cosy booths, and a gentle hum of Old Hollywood charm in the air.
Grab a burger, settle in under the animated stars, and soak it all up. It’s giving very cool LA eatery—just without the valet parking or the influencer doing their fifteenth outfit change in the corner. (We love a relaxed Disney vibe.)
🍽️ Will You Need Reservations for Hollywood Gardens?
Nope! Since it’s a quick-service restaurant, you won’t need to book a table. But it’s going to be really popular at first, so if you want to avoid the busiest times, try going a little earlier for lunch or later in the afternoon when the rush calms down.
