7 Days Before: Start Your Last-Minute Disneyland Paris Checklist
This is the day to ensure everything is set. Double-check all your bookings, confirm your travel details, and start mentally preparing for all the magic that awaits.
- Download the Disneyland Paris app (here’s a link and my other favourite DLP apps!) & have a quick look around
- Link your park tickets to your Disneyland Paris if they’re not already
- Check your travel details:
- Flying? Confirm flights, check baggage allowance, and submit API info. From 12th October 2025, remember the new entry and exit system (EES) is in place. Read all about it here!
- Taking the Eurostar? Check online or in the app for your allocated seats and train times. Fill out your API. From the 12th October 2025, remember the new changes are in place. Take a read about it here!
- Driving? Grab my best driving to DLP tips and make sure your car insurance covers Europe. You’ll also need to get a European driving kit if you don’t have one.
- Sort out travel insurance if you haven’t yet
- Check Disney park hours, showtimes & refurbishments
- Fireworks are always at closing time – check the park schedule in the app or on my calendar page
- Check my Refurbishments Schedule for attraction closures
- Plan a loose itinerary so you don’t miss out on any must-do’s
- My planning and itinerary guide has one ready-made for you! Perfect if your brain is already fried.
- Test your shoes
- If you’ve bought new ones, break them in now! You don’t want blisters between you and Big Thunder Mountain.

5–6 Days Before Departure: Check the Weather & Start Packing
Time to get serious about packing and making sure you have all the essentials.
- Check the weather forecast (I recommend Meteo France)
- Make a shopping list for any last-minute essentials:
- Ponchos (because rain loves a Disney holiday)
- Sunscreen (yes, even in winter!)
- Travel snacks (because airport and train station prices? No, thank you.)
- Start packing a few key items:
- Passports & travel documents
- Plug adaptors or power strip with the right plug built in
- Comfy shoes (see above!)
- Ibuprofen
- Grab my editable packing list
- Sort out travel money
- Contactless and Apple Pay work well in France, but it’s always nice to have a few euros too.

3–4 Days Before Departure: Time to Reserve & Double-Check
We’re getting close now! This is the perfect moment to secure those last-minute reservations and ensure everything is in order.
- Book restaurants
- Table service dining opens 3 days ahead—snag those spots at the Plaza Gardens character breakfast, Walt’s, Auberge de Cendrillon, Captain Jack’s, or other best restaurants!
- Pro tip: Sign up for DLP Tables alerts—they’ll ping you when popular reservations go live (or when someone cancels) so you can snag them.
- Pre-check-in for flights, Eurostar, or hotels
- Download and print important docs
- Just in case your phone decides to go rogue at security.
- Finalise your packing
- Use my full Disneyland Paris Guide has ready-to-go packing lists (and helpful links) to make sure you don’t forget anything!

1–2 Days Before Departure: Devices & Bags Ready
It’s crunch time! Now is the moment to get your devices charged, organise your carry-on, and do those last-minute checks.
- Charge everything
- Phone, camera, portable charger, headphones, magic wand (just in case).
- Download Google Maps offline
- Handy if your data disappears somewhere between Lille and Marne-la-Vallée.
- Pack your day bag
- Water bottle, ponchos, hand sanitiser, lip balm, chewing gum, a few snacks, battery pack—trust me, this will be your survival kit.
- Triple-check all your bookings and travel times
- Just for peace of mind. If you have my planning guide, jot down timings on the travel itinerary sheet so you can work out when to leave the house.

The Night Before Departure: Final Touches
The excitement is REAL, but don’t let that distract you from these last few steps.
- Lay out your breakfast for the morning rush
- Pack travel snacks or meals if you’re bringing your own (especially handy for Eurostar or driving days)
- Set multiple alarms
- We’re talking full fail-safe mode: phone, partner’s phone, kitchen timer if needed.
- Double-check your essentials:
- Passport
- Tickets
- Wallet
- Travel money
- Get to bed early (I know, easier said than done when you’re buzzing with excitement!)
