Nordic Crowns Tavern at Disneyland Paris: World of Frozen’s New Quick-Service Spot

What do you think about stopping for lunch inside a Frozen postcard? Well, Nordic Crowns Tavern might just become your new favourite place to eat at Disneyland Paris.

This brand new restaurant sits right in the heart of World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World. It has warm timber walls, decorative Nordic patterns, soft candlelit glows, and every detail styled to fit a citizen of Arendelle.

And the best part? No reservation needed. This is a quick-service restaurant — yay for easy dining in a land that is going to be very popular from day one.

🏔 A Charming Arendelle-Inspired Setting

Nordic Crowns Tavern is basically what happens when Imagineering says, ‘What if we made the coziest village tavern in Arendelle?’ The walls have portraits of the royal family, Sven looking adorable as ever, Olaf being Olaf, and a few other familiar faces that will make Frozen fans do that little excited gasp (you know the one).

It feels like the spot locals would go after a long day at the Snowflower Festival — warm wood everywhere, soft glowy lighting, Nordic patterns, and all those tiny storytelling details that make you slow down and look at everything. It’s cosy, it’s charming, and it it’s the perfect spot to grab lunch or dinner.

If classic Disney theming makes your heart flutter (same), you’re going to love it here.

What’s on the Menu at Nordic Crowns Tavern?

The official menu hasn’t officially dropped on the app yet, but we do know a few exciting details from the Imagineering team:

  • Mix-and-match meals — You choose a base (like mashed potatoes or quinoa), a protein (like grilled salmon or Nordic meatballs), a veggie side (like carrots or peas), and one of two sauces (tangy cranberry or creamy dill).
  • Frozen-themed desserts — We’re expecting pastries, sorbets, and possibly a few cute surprises.
  • Gluten-free and vegan options — Disneyland Paris is continuing to improve inclusivity, and World of Frozen seems ready to deliver.

This will be a customisable meal (16 possible combinations!), which is ideal for families with picky eaters and for guests with dietary preferences. And as soon as the full menu (with prices) drops on the app, I’ll update this section.

👱🏻‍♀️ A Little Personal Aside… Because I Can’t Help Myself

Okay, I have to say it… the menu gives me major IKEA café energy — and I mean that with full love and respect.
Mashed potatoes, veggies, meatballs, salmon, dill, cranberry… tell me that’s not giving ‘Treat Yourself to a Tray’ vibes?

But tbh I’m here for it.
I love IKEA food. Give me a plate of plant-based meatballs and a scoop of mash and I will happily sit in a cosy wooden dining room pretending I’m living my Scandinavian cabin fantasy.

And secretly (not so secretly now), I’m crossing all my fingers that they bring the plant-based IKEA-style meatballs to Nordic Crowns Tavern. That would be iconic.

Dining Without Reservations

Good news! Nordic Crowns Tavern is quick service, which means:

  • No booking required
  • You can order at the counter
  • And Click & Collect will be available later via the DLP app

This instantly makes Nordic Crowns Tavern one of the most accessible dining options inside World of Frozen — ideal for days where everything else is fully booked or you’re too excited to be tied to a specific time.

Just be aware: you’ll need valid entry to Disney Adventure World to access the restaurant.

✨ Imagineering Magic at Nordic Crowns Tavern!

One of my favourite little details in World of Frozen is right at the entrance. See those two chalets framing the doorway (photo above)?

💜 Left side: blue and violet tones for Elsa — complete with elegant, regal-style ornaments.
💛 Right side: warm yellow-greens for Anna — a little brighter, a little more floral, just like our girl.

It’s such a sweet sister nod, and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. The whole village is full of these clever Scandinavian touches — painted slate roofs, carved wood, rosemaling, and tiny floral patterns everywhere. The Imagineers really said: let’s make Arendelle real (and I really think they did!)

GOOD TO KNOW: Can You Use Disney Meal Plans at Nordic Crowns Tavern?

For anyone on a Disneyland Paris Meal Plan: yes, Nordic Crowns Tavern will accept Meal Plans. We don’t have the exact Meal Plan tier confirmed yet, but since this is a quick-service restaurant, it’s very likely to sit in the same category as the other counter-service dining locations in Disneyland Paris and Disney Adventure World.

If you’re staying onsite and already thinking ahead about your spends on food, Meal Plans can be a convenient way to spread the cost — especially if you love trying all the new restaurants.

👉 Compare current Disney Meal Plans here. If you’re planning a Frozen-focused trip or visiting on a busier weekend, using a Meal Plan here might take a bit of pressure off your food budget on the day.
