November at Disneyland Paris is a bit like catching the parks mid-costume change. One minute you’re waving goodbye to pumpkins, and the next, you’re tripping over tinsel. It’s the in-between season where Main Street smells faintly of gingerbread but you can still spot a stray ghost if you look closely enough.

If you’re visiting this month, you’re in for a treat. Or, possibly several, if you count all the new shows, cosy weather, and festive lights. Just remember, there’s a little gap between the Halloween and Christmas celebrations (3–7 November), which means you’ll find lower crowds, quieter pathways, and a sneaky chance to enjoy Disneyland Paris in its most peaceful state before the glitter explosion begins on the 8th.

The Big Seasonal Switch: When Halloween Ends & Christmas Begins

Halloween season ends on 2 November, and Christmas officially begins on 8 November 2025.

Between those dates, the parks enter what I like to call their ‘pumpkin-meets-tinsel’ phase. You’ll still see some Halloween touches lingering while the first Christmas decorations start to appear.

Will there be Christmas entertainment before the 8th? Probably not. Disneyland Paris tends to launch all its festive shows, parades, and special character meets on opening day. But will Main Street already be twinkling? Absolutely. The castle, shop windows, and trees begin transforming almost overnight.

Tip of the Month: Trying to catch both seasons in one trip? It’s tricky. You’d need to stay in Paris for about a week to see the full crossover 2nd-8th November 2025. But the good news is that the period between is usually much quieter, as there’s no active seasonal entertainment drawing big crowds.

🎁 What’s New This November

November brings the full return of Disney Enchanted Christmas, along with two special highlights worth knowing about:

🎄 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Disneyland Paris Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins on 21 November 2025 and takes place on Town Square each evening, usually around 5 PM as the sky begins to darken.

Expect festive music, a live choir, Mickey and friends dressed in their winter best, and of course that towering tree lighting up for the first time each night. It’s one of the most heart-warming moments of the entire season, so arrive early to find a good viewing spot (especially around launch week and Christmas week when everyone wants that perfect video).

🌀 Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics Returns

Over at Marvel Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park, Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics will have reappeared to spin its spells once again. The show returns on 25 October and will continue through November, lighting up the night with special effects, storytelling, and plenty of Marvel drama.

It’s a fun evening addition to your visit and perfect for anyone looking for a little superhero sparkle before the main Christmas fireworks begin.

🎄 What’s Coming for Christmas Season 2025

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas returns from 8 November 2025 with all the festive sparkle fans adore – and a few updates too!

🎅 Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade will glide through Disneyland Park twice a day (including once at night, when it truly shines). Download the full November Christmas Parade schedule below ⬇️
🎁 Videopolis in Discoverlyland will host ‘Let’s Sing Christmas!’, a joyful live show starring Mickey, Minnie, and carolling friends in their festive best.
🌟 Expect Meet-and-Greets with Mr and Mrs Claus, classic holiday snacks, and Disney Princesses Holiday Season Celebration next to the castle
👑 Two Princess shows are happening
🎄 And, yes, the iconic tree lighting moment in Town Square will return, complete with snow falling on Main Street.

🎟️ Tickets & Reservations

November may be calmer than summer, but it still fills up quickly once Christmas season begins. Book park tickets and hotel packages as early as possible to secure the best prices and availability.

If you’re looking for the complete package and access to the most popular Disney tables and priority access fireworks reservations 12 months in advance, I recommend booking with Disneyland Paris. Adding that exclusive princess breakfast to your package now is my other top tip, as it’s nearly impossible to dine there otherwise!

Tip: Don’t wait until it’s too late to check availability – some Disney hotels and restaurant slots (especially for Christmas season) can vanish faster than Olaf in a sauna!

🧳 What to Pack for November

November brings cool mornings, crisp evenings, and often some light rain. Think layers!

✔ Warm coat or puffer jacket
✔ Cosy jumper or fleece – especially for early mornings and late nights
✔ Waterproof shoes, boots or even socks
✔ Gloves, scarf, and emergency ponchos (trust me!)
✔ Crossbody or backpack that can handle a few soggy spells (If you’re looking for one, this inexpensive foldable, waterproof backpack has loads of handy pockets including a hidden one that’s great for your passport. And at less than £20 is perfect for a short Disneyland Paris trip!)
✔ Reliable power bank for all those gorgeous photos and using the DLP app non-stop

Little Tips That Make a Big Difference

💡 Plan your park-hopping days around the closures, Walt Disney Studios Park is quieter this month and great for slower late afternoons.
💡 Take advantage of Extra Magic Time to get on Peter Pan’s Flight or Big Thunder Mountain with shorter waits.
💡 Use the Disneyland Paris app to check live show schedules (note that Lion King reopens 8 November).
💡 Don’t skip early dinners! Restaurants fill fast once the cold sets in. Check out my ultimate list of best restaurants at Disneyland Paris.

What I Really Think About November at Disneyland Paris

The first week of November feels like the calm before the Christmas sparkle. You can stroll down Main Street with a hot chocolate, watch the first twinkling lights appear on the castle, and enjoy those rare moments when the parks feel a little quieter and slower.

If you love cooler weather, festive beginnings, and fewer crowds, this is a truly wonderful time to go. And for the rest of the month? Buckle up Buttercup. You’re in for main character energy as the magic of Christmas hits you like snowball tumbling down the mountainside!
