4 Nights 5 Days in Disneyland Paris: A Perfect Itinerary for Families
Got 5 days to spare and a Disney hotel booked? Well, you’re in for a treat because this itinerary will make sure you squeeze every ounce of pixie dust out of your Disneyland Paris trip. Whether you’re a DLP newbie or practically on first-name terms with Mickey, I’ve got your 5-day adventure covered—from must-ride attractions to the best snacks (because snacks are life).

Once your dates are locked in, grab this itinerary and get ready for five days of Disney fun, a bit of chaos, and memories you’ll cherish forever.

Day 1: Arrival and Getting in the Disney Spirit
Welcome to your Disney home for the next few days! There are actually 7 hotels onsite at Disneyland Paris. But if you choose to stay at Disney Hotel Cheyenne (my fave for families!) you’ll be in a western-themed hotel brimming with Toy Story vibes -and the kids will love it!.
Once you’ve checked into your hotel and settled into your room, grab a drink from the bar or from Starbucks at Cheyenne or Santa Fe) and let the little ones burn off some energy exploring. Take a moment to breathe it all in—you’re here!

• Afternoon: A Casual Stroll Through Disney Village
After an early start and all that travelling, you won’t want to rush about now. So take a leisurely stroll over to Disney Village, which is just a short walk (or a quick shuttle ride) away.
If you’re hungry, grab a quick bite from Earl of Sandwich — there are plenty of kid-friendly choices on the menu.
Then take your time, wander around, and maybe do a little window shopping. The Lego Shop is a particular favourite for my family.
• Evening: Dinner with a Side of Superheroes
How about kicking off your holiday with a bit of Marvel magic? Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is also in Disney Village. Explore it with your family and discover incredibly fun art, Iron-Man suits, a comic book photo op and a very cool bar.
✏️ PRO TIP If you’ve not been able to get a reservation in the Disneyland Paris app before your trip, ask your Disney Hotel Cheyenne concierge if they can book you a table at Downtown Restaurant. The food is some of the best in Disneyland Paris!

Alternatively, have dinner in one of the other restaurants in Disney Village: Annette’s Diner, Rainforest Cafe and Vapiano are all places that don’t require reservations.
After dinner, head back to your hotel. You might be able to grab an autograph from a Disney character meeting in the lobby. But don’t stay out too late – you’ll want to be well-rested. Tomorrow, the real magic begins!
Day 2: Classic Disney Day at Disneyland Park
• Morning: Start with Extra Magic Time
One of the best perks of staying on-site at a Disney hotel? Extra Magic Time! This means you can enter the park an hour before it officially opens.
Enjoy a quick buffet breakfast at your hotel or grab snacks from Starbucks, then head straight to Fantasyland with the kiddos and make a beeline for Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and ‘it’s a small world.’
These rides are super popular, but the early start means you’ll have a better shot at beating the larger crowds. Don’t forget to snap a picture of your family in front of the castle!

• Late Morning: Say Hello to Mickey!
After your morning ride spree, it’s time to meet the mouse who started it all. Head over to Meet Mickey Mouse in Fantasyland.
The queue is indoors and you can watch cute Mickey short films while you’re waiting. The smiles on your children’s faces when they meet Mickey are priceless, so don’t forget to take lots of pictures!
• Lunch: Dining with Disney Royalty
For lunch, consider treating your family to a meal at Auberge de Cendrillon. It’s a bit of a splurge, but the experience of dining in a castle with Cinderella and her princess pals is pure Disney magic.
Plus, it will save you from a huge queue at the Princess Pavilion.

• Afternoon: Explore Adventureland & Frontierland
After lunch, venture into Adventureland and Frontierland. Pirates of the Caribbean is a must—it’s thrilling without being too scary.
If your family is feeling adventurous, give Big Thunder Mountain a go. It’s a bit of a wild ride, but so much fun!
Then, pop over to Overland Trail Cafe near Case de Coco for the most delicious Churros Sundae you’ve ever tasted (pictured above).
• Evening: Disney Stars on Parade
Find a spot along Main Street, U.S.A., and settle in for Disney Stars on Parade. The floats are vibrant, the characters wave and dance, and the music will have everyone bopping along. It’s one of those iconic Disney experiences you just can’t miss.
After the parade, you might want to explore some of the shops on Main Street. If you’re in the mood for a light bite, grab a yummy hotdog (or vegan dog) from Casey’s Corner.
Or, head back to your hotel for dinner. If you’re staying at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, try Chuck Wagon Cafe. It’s Tex-Mex buffet-style, so there’s something for everyone—perfect when the little ones are getting a bit picky after a busy day.
Day 3: Action-Packed Adventures at Walt Disney Studios Park
• Morning: Extra Magic Time, Again!
After a quick breakfast, start your day at Walt Disney Studios Park, where you can enjoy Extra Magic Time again.
Begin in Toy Story Playland—the kids will love Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. Don’t forget to get a picture with Rex, everyone’s favourite dinosaur!
• Late Morning: Meet Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man
Marvel Avengers Campus has plenty to see, but don’t forget to check out Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure. ✏️ PRO TIP Aim to queue for this attraction before 09:30 am when the park opens to everyone. If you get there later than that and the queue is long, consider buying a Premier Access One to skip to the front!
Don’t forget to join the virtual queue to meet some Super Heroes!! (This is available in the Disneyland Paris app once you’re inside Walt Disney Studios). When your appointment arrives, head over to Heroic Encounter: Spider-Man for a photo-op with the web-slinger himself. Even if your family aren’t huge Marvel fans, this will definitely be a highlight!

• Lunch: Bistrot Chez Rémy
For lunch, you’re in for a treat at Bistrot Chez Rémy. The setting is straight out of Ratatouille, with oversized furniture making you feel like you’re the size of a rat. The food is lovely too—try the ratatouille, of course!
To complete your experience, hop on Ratatouille: Remy’s Crazy Adventure. An exciting spin through the kitchens in your mouse car will leave your whole family smiling!
• Afternoon: Experience the Magic of ‘Mickey and the Magician’
Check the app for showtimes and make your way to Animagique Theater for Mickey and the Magician. This spectacular show is a must-see, and one of my family’s favourites. It features Mickey Mouse as he learns the art of magic from some of Disney’s most popular characters: Elsa, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast Genie and many more!
With special effects, dazzling costumes, and incredible performances, this is one of those Disney experiences that stays with you long after your trip is over.

• Evening: Dinner at Stark Kitchen & More Rides
After a day full of action, unwind with dinner at Stark Kitchen. Here you can share a pizza or pasta and a dessert at this Marvel-themed quick-service eatery.
If the weather is good enough to eat outside, take a seat for some Super Hero action. There might be a Guardians of the Galaxy dance party, Loki plotting to take over the world, or Spider-Man and friends battling villains on the rooftop!
If you have some time left, you might want to experience Crush’s Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Both are strictly for adrenaline junkies!
Or, to try something at a milder pace, hop on Cars ROAD TRIP at the back of the park, or head to Flying Carpets Over Agrabah and Cars Quatre Roues Rallye in Toon Studio (near the Anamagique Theater).
Day 4: A Second Helping of Disneyland Park Magic
• Morning: Fantasyland & Discoveryland
It’s back to Disneyland Park today! Start in Discoveryland to do Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast in Extra Magic Time. It’s my kids’ favourite—who doesn’t love a little friendly competition?
Then, if your family loves rollercoasters, hit Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain for the ultimate adrenaline kick.
Or, for milder attractions, race back to Fantasyland to revisit any favourite rides from earlier in your trip while the park is still quiet. My youngest did Dumbo at least 3 times on our first visit!
• Late Morning: Storybook Adventures
One of my top recommendations for a 5 day Disneyland Paris Itinerary is to take time to enjoy the attractions at a slower pace. My favourite place for doing that is the quiet area at the back of Fantasyland.
Two fantastic rides for families are here. Casey Jr – le Petit Train du Cirque is a fun train that zips around with great views of Fantasyland. It’s a perfect introductory ‘baby coaster’ for little ones.
And Le Payes des Contes Fees is a charming and relaxing boat ride through various Disney storybooks. Recently refurbished, look out for the brand new Winnie the Pooh, Frozen and Up! scenes.
You might even catch a character meet in this part of Fantasyland, so keep your eyes peeled.
• Lunchtime: Refuel with Ice Cream and/or Mickey Pizza!
If your kid’s idea of lunch is ice cream, then I’ve got the place for you! March Hare Refreshments in Fantasyland has the most iconic Wonderland-themed desserts. My favourite is the brownie sundae, but all of them are delicious!
If you need a more substantial meal, try either Bella Notte in Fantasyland (Lady and the Tramp themed) or Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost in Adventureland (Jungle Book themed). Both serve crowd-pleasing Mickey-shaped pizzas. Colonel Hathis is more scenic and chilled, while Bella Notte has more classic pizza flavours.
• Afternoon: Frontierland Fun & Adventure Isle
After lunch, take the opportunity to explore Frontierland a bit more. Big Thunder Mountain is a repeat must-do if the kids loved it the first time. Otherwise, check out Phantom Manor for a spooky (but not too scary) adventure.
Then, let the kids burn off some energy at Adventure Isle, where they can explore caves, bridges, and hidden treasures.

• Evening: Coco-Themed Dinner + Nighttime Spectacular
After all that fresh air, you might be getting hungry! I recommend a casual dinner at Casa de Coco. The Mexican burritos and Coco-theming make it a really fun spot for families to relax. And my husband and I love the slushy margaritas!
Finish the day with the stunning Disney Electrical Sky Parade and Disney Dreams! show at Sleeping Beauty Castle. The fireworks, projections, and music are simply magical.
✏️ PRO TIP There are several places to watch the Disneyland Paris fireworks. The best (if you don’t want to wait too long) is over by the Castle Stage near Discoveryland. You could also buy a Reserved Access Pass to enter the exclusive area right in front of the castle. At the time of writing, Reserved Access Pass is €29 per person and needs to be booked about 30 days in advance (7 days if you are staying off-site).
Day 5: A Bittersweet Farewell
• Morning: Character Breakfast at Plaza Gardens
On your last day, I highly recommend having a lazy morning, packing up your hotel room and then treating your family to a character breakfast at Plaza Gardens.
It’s a fantastic way to round off your holiday, and the kids will be thrilled to meet many of their favourite Disney Characters over a buffet breakfast. • Late Morning: Last-Minute Fun
Spend your final morning revisiting your kids’ favourite attractions or ticking off any you might have missed.
And, before you leave, make sure to do a bit of souvenir shopping. My kids love picking out a special memento, and you’ll find plenty of Disney magic to bring home.
Main Street, U.S.A. has plenty of options including my favourite, the Boardwalk Candy Palace, where we get Minnie cake pops and sweets to take home with us.
• Lunch: A Farewell Meal
If you didn’t eat your fill at the buffet breakfast, have your final meal in the park. My favourite is Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland. The fish and chips are perfect for the family, and it’s a nicely-themed spot to reflect on all the fun you’ve had.
Alternatively, try Cafe Hyperion in Discoveryland for a menu that includes meat, fish, chicken or veggie burgers.

• Afternoon: Time to Say Goodbye
After lunch, it’s sadly time to head back to your hotel to collect your luggage.
But, before you leave, take one more picture in front of the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle.
You might have the Disney blues, but you can start planning your next Disney adventure as soon as you get back!
