Must-See Shows at Disneyland Paris

All Disneyland Paris shows are included in your park ticket. And they are not only a truly memorable experience, they are great for breaking up a long park day.

But which ones should you see? Let’s go over all the shows in both parks. Then I will explain which ones are the best.

A brilliantly lit stage has Timon, Simba and Pumbaa dancing enthusiastically
Timon, Simba and Pumbaa perform in The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands

🏰 Disneyland Paris Shows in the Main Park

1. The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands

The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands is the only Disneyland Paris show in the main park. This musical has stunning costumes, acrobatic performers, and a shortened story about how Simba dramatically becomes the Lion King.

WHERE TO SEE IT Frontierland Theatre in the main park. At the end of Main Street, take the shortcut to Frontierland from the left arcade. Walk towards the Rustler Roundup Shootout Gallery, past Thunder Mountain to Cowboy Cookout. You will see the theatre near the Frontierland Railroad Depot.

An extra large parade float carries Crush, the turtle dad, from Finding Nemo. Below him 'swims' his son Squirt
Disney Stars on Parade, with turtles Crush and Squirt from Finding Nemo

2. Disney Stars on Parade

A nostalgic classic, Disney Stars on Parade features a fire-breathing Maleficent dragon and a huge cast of beloved Disney characters. Currently, it is running without the famous Peter Pan float, but it is still a must-do for first-timers.

WHERE TO SEE IT There are plenty of good spots to stand for Disney Stars on Parade, but my favourite is in the central hub to get the castle in the background for photos. Or, I love to see it near the front entrance to the park.

👱🏻‍♀️ My Experience My family and I wait for Stars on Parade on a curb near the park entrance with treats from the nearby confectionary store. It’s much more chilled out at that end than by the castle or on Main Street.

3. Disney Tales of Magic

Say hello to Disneyland Paris’s newest evening show—Tales of Magic! This 25-minute stunner combines dazzling drone displays, jaw-dropping castle projections, fireworks, and all your favourite Disney tunes. It’s a feast for the eyes and ears, with iconic moments from Disney stories lighting up the night sky.

WHERE TO SEE IT For the best view, head to the front of Sleeping Beauty Castle—just be ready to stake your spot at least 90 minutes early. Another way to soak in the atmosphere is to watch from halfway down Main Street. From here you’ll also catch the beautiful new projections on the shopfronts. Want a quieter option? Check out the side of the castle near Discoveryland—less waiting, still spectacular!

Hugely popular, expect large audiences at both shows.

4. Disney Music Festival

The Disney Music Festival began on 19th April 2025 and runs until 7th September 2025. With an incredible line-up of live performances, toe-tapping tunes, and Disney-themed concerts it’s a total package that will make your heart sing.

5. Mickey and the Magician

The Mickey and Magician show always ranks high on my must-do list.

Join Mickey Mouse as he masters his insecurities to become the magician’s apprentice. Of course, he can only do that with the help of his friends! Expect a huge cast of classic Disney characters like Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Beauty and the Beast, Rafiki from The Lion King, and Elsa and Olaf from Frozen.

This is a West End-style musical show with surprising magical effects and a talented, brilliant ensemble.

6. TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure

Another must-see show at Disneyland Paris is TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure

There are lots of wonderful surprises that happen in this show. And to keep it that way, cameras are forbidden. Look out for a wonderful scene from ‘Up,’ Toy Story’s Rex’s first appearance in a Disney theme park, and the amazing puppetry of Nemo, Marlin and Dory.

7. Frozen: A Musical Invitation

If you have a Frozen fan in your party, Frozen: A Musical Invitation is a must-do.

This interactive musical is staged in two parts. First, you will sit in one theatre to watch Anna make plans for Elsa’s birthday with Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. Then you will stand up and move to a second seated location in Elsa’s ice castle where Anna and Kristoff are joined by Olaf and Elsa.

8. Stitch Live!

Aimed squarely at little ones, Stitch Live! invites youngsters to sit at the front on the carpet and have real conversations with Experiment 626, aka the loveable Stitch.

You should know that we only meet Stitch in his cartoon form on a screen, but it is a marvellous, short adventure where he interacts with the audience. If you’ve done Turtle Talk with Crush at Walt Disney World, this will feel similar.

WHERE TO SEE IT Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios. Exit left out of Disney Studio 1 where the shops are. Continue walking straight, and you will see it up ahead.

⭐ BEST Shows at Disneyland Paris ⭐

All the shows at Disneyland Paris are suitable for the whole family. If you have enough time, I recommend watching all of them. There is no bad show at Disneyland Paris.

If this is your first time, or you are only returning for a short trip, you will want to make sure to see the best Disneyland Paris shows this year!

Here are my top recommendations.

 • Best Disneyland Paris Shows for Adults

If you are travelling solo, as a couple, or with friends, the best shows at Disneyland Paris are Mickey and the Magician in Walt Disney Studios and The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands in Disneyland Park. Both shows have talented performers, beautiful costumes and memorable moments, perfect for adults.

Honourable mention: TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure. If you are a huge Pixar fan, you will love the Toy Story characters, a passionate ‘Remember Me’ from Coco, and a gorgeous scene from ‘Up.’

A cartoon Stitch is on screen while children are sat in front
Stitch Live! is a must-do for youngsters

 • Best Disneyland Paris Shows for Small Children

If you are visiting Disneyland Paris with small children, I highly recommend Stitch Live!. You won’t have to queue for more than 5 minutes, and the show lasts only around 10 minutes. It is an interactive show, so if your child is outgoing, they might even be chosen to speak with Stitch.

Another wonderful show for children is Frozen: A Musical Invitation. Although the wait for this show is usually the longest, it is a must-do for Frozen fans. There is nowhere to meet Anna or Elsa in the parks, so this is the closest you can get to them. Be aware that Elsa sings ‘Let It Go’ in French, but the show is completely understandable even if you only speak English.

 • Best Disneyland Paris Shows for Teens and Tweens

The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands in Disneyland Park is terrific for teens and tweens. It is closer to a Cirque du Soleil show than a traditional musical, featuring acrobats and suspended rope artists.

Teens and tweens will also enjoy TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure, which has Toy Story and Coco characters and a lively, surreal story-telling style.

Honourable mention: Mickey and the Magician is a real crowd-pleaser and great for older audiences, too.

 • Best Disneyland Paris Parade

There are normally two parades to choose from at Disneyland Paris, including a seasonal offering (check the Disneyland Paris app). If you only have time for one, you probably should pick Disney Stars on Parade (pictured above). It is a popular parade that has been around a long time for good reason – it features all the classic Disney characters and princesses in larger-than-life floats. Plus, the fire-breathing Maleficent dragon is jaw-dropping.

 • Best Disneyland Paris Nighttime Show

Disneyland Paris currently offers only one nighttime show: Disney Tales of Magic in Disneyland Park.

Tales of Magic is a must-see. Its dazzling drones, stunning castle and shopfront projections, and fireworks make it the perfect finale to your Disney day.
