Opening day (29th March) is already sold out, but there’s still availability for the rest of March and beyond.

St Patrick’s Day at Disneyland Paris (17 March): is there anything special?
If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris on 17 March, you might be wondering if the parks go full shamrock-mode. Usually, there isn’t a big official St Patrick’s Day celebration, but you can still lean into the vibe:
- Disney Village is your best bet for anything Irish-themed
- The Royal Pub in Disney Village is a British pub, so if anywhere is going to feel appropriately green and cheerful, it’s there
- Inside the parks, it’s more of a ‘make your own fun’ day: wear something green, grab a cute snack, and call it your personal holiday
- Often the castle lights up green for a St Patrick’s Day pre-show (see below)

If you’re in the parks on March 17th, do your daytime park bits as normal, then swing by Disney Village in the evening for a drink or a nice dinner stop. If the weather’s doing that classic March thing (windy + dramatic drizzle), it’s also a really nice warm-up break before heading back for nighttime rides and shows.
Closures, Refurbishments & Final Preparations
March still sits within refurbishment season, especially as the resort prepares for such a major opening.
You may notice some attractions or shows operating on reduced schedules, or temporarily closing for final adjustments. This is completely normal for this time of year — and the Disneyland Paris app is always your best source for day-to-day updates.
The key thing to remember is this: while some things may pause, the heart of the parks remains very much alive and enjoyable.
Disney Village Construction: What’s Affected (and What Isn’t)
Disney Village is currently very much a work in progress.
The most noticeable impact for guests is the continued closure of Annette’s Diner, which is undergoing a major refurbishment and won’t return for quite some time. The smaller Disney Store nearby is also closed.
The good news? World of Disney remains open, so shopping options are unaffected — and none of this construction impacts the parks themselves.

March Weather at Disneyland Paris
March weather is hopeful… but unpredictable.
Mornings can still feel chilly, afternoons are often mild, and rain showers pop up just often enough to keep you guessing. On a good day, you’ll get crisp blue skies that feel like an early promise of spring.
In short: March rewards flexibility.
March weather at Disneyland Paris can’t quite make up its mind. I’ve visited when it’s been absolutely freezing and pouring with rain, and I’ve also had March trips where it was so warm and sunny I ended up putting my coat into luggage storage by lunchtime.
My best advice?
Check your favourite weather app in the days leading up to your trip and again each morning before you head out. You can search for Disneyland Paris or Chessy for the most accurate forecast.
Layers are your best friend in March, and being prepared for both sun and sudden rain will make your day much more comfortable.
🧳 What to Pack & What to Wear in March
Layers are everything this month.
You’ll want clothing that can adapt throughout the day — warm enough for early mornings, light enough for afternoons, and waterproof just in case.
✨ My essentials in March
March at Disneyland Paris is all about being prepared, not overloaded. These are the things I genuinely rely on every time:
• A portable phone charger
Between photos, videos, maps, queue times, and mobile ordering, your battery won’t survive the day without backup.
• A lightweight waterproof jacket
Not a full winter coat, but something properly waterproof. March showers can come out of nowhere, and a packable jacket saves the day without taking up space.
• A warm but breathable mid-layer
Think fleece, thin jumper, or thermal top. Early mornings and late nights can still feel chilly, even when afternoons are mild.
• Comfortable, broken-in trainers
This is not the month to debut brand-new shoes. Pavements can be damp, queues are long, and comfort matters more than aesthetics by lunchtime.
• An umbrella or poncho
I always bring one even if the forecast looks fine. If you’re choosing between the two, a poncho keeps hands free for snacks, photos, and bags.
• A small backpack with decent pockets
Big enough for layers and snacks, small enough to carry all day without annoyance. Bonus points for one that’s water-resistant.
• Sunglasses
March light can be surprisingly bright, especially on clear days. They’re also a lifesaver for parades, castle photos, and Main Street afternoons.
• A reusable water bottle
Even in cooler weather, you’ll walk far more than you realise. Staying hydrated keeps energy levels up without constantly buying drinks.
These are the things I personally reach for every single March trip — not everything you could pack, just what actually gets used.
